    T he question is-who killed George Heath?  For that reason, it becomes necessary for me to tell you one or two things about the two prisoners. With these words, the prosecutor introduced the events which led up to the foul and cold-blooded murder of a harmless cab driver only a few days after the two prisoners first met each other. 

    Hulten was duly hanged on March 8, 1945, five days after his 23rd birthday; despite last-minute pleas from his wife and others in the United States for his postponement of death. Jones served a little more than nine years of her sentence. After gaining full remission for ethical conduct, she was released in; May 1954 to begin a new life and gun-free living.
