About this ebook

Addison knows her marriage is failing, and she will do anything in her power to help rekindle the flame that was once there. Her husband is the only man she has ever been with, so when he gives her the proposition to explore her sexuality, the first thing she thinks is that she is not adequate enough to keep him happy. Distraught with her thinking, she confides in her best friend Jessica. Jessica is sure that Addison is wrong and it is Cole who has already cheated. When Addison realizes this may in fact be the real reason for his proposition, she and Jessica cook up a plan to keep Cole from blaming the failure of their marriage on Addison.

When it comes to my writing, my mind tells me to bring my writing close to home, while my heart tells me I just need to talk my feelings out. I have listened to both sides and come up with a wonderful plan! I will give my readers a little of myself along with a little embellishment to keep them coming back for more.

    A Trucker’s Backfire

Keep quiet or you’ll scare the fish. Addison knew these words all to well. She grew up with her mom and stepdad saying the sentence on all their camping trips. However, this night wasn’t about catching dinner for the campfire. This night was about trying to communicate with her husband. Addison decides to kill the silence.

    The stars are brilliant tonight.

Her husband Cole glared at her as if she had committed a sin with her voice, but his anger quickly turned into a smile. Addison quickly turned away. She started reeling in her fishing line. She could feel Cole watching her. It made her skin crawl, and she needed to escape quickly. She knew he blamed her for their failed marriage, but why didn’t he say something? Hell, he could even yell at her right now. At least that would be something instead of the penetrating look he is giving her now.

Where are you going? Cole seemed sincere about Addison’s whereabouts, but she knew he really didn’t care.

The fish aren’t biting here, so I thought I would go further down the bank and try there. Addison words came out with a lot of enthusiasm. She was trying hard to put on a brave face and act as though she was happy in her marriage.

Let’s go for a walk. Cole started to reel in his own line as he continued. I think a walk will do us some good.

Addison froze in her tracks at these words. This is it. She thought to herself.
