Sativa Dominant is a collection of three stories more potent than anything you are reading now. Billy ate his pizza, smoked his cigarettes, and sung a song. Now the police just want him to come outside with his hands up. Detective Johnson has just been trained on an open and shut case. Before he can accept congratulations, his second case is beginning across town. Calvin’s Mother told him to come home straight after school, and never go around the corner. After disobeying his Mother, Calvin is still trying to find his way home.

Stranger

Stranger is a cinephile and aspiring screenwriter who loves nothing more than breaking movies down scene-by-scene. He enjoys taking a simple idea and turning it into a complete visual narrative. Stranger began pursuing his affection for writing in 1994, but it was in 2013 that he decided to take his craft seriously. He enrolled at Full Sail University where he took 36 online courses towards earning his B.F.A. in Creative Writing for Entertainment degree. His education has better prepared him for the writing industry and he feels confident he now has the tools to be a success. Stranger’s favorite movies have lots of action and drama, from the nearly non-stop action of Michael Bay, to the dialog driven drama of his favorite writer, and director, Quentin Tarantino. Sharrard has great respect for Mr. Bay, and Mr. Tarantino, and attempts to emulate their style. Sharrard is currently working with an independent film company to produce a short dramatic film, in which GOD is upset he cannot find his son, titled, “The Devil Cares.” In winter 2018, Stranger will be self-publishing a book of short stories in a book titled "Sativa Dominant." It will feature three stories, “The Last Thing Cavin Ever Did” is a drama loosely based on a childhood experience, “Wandka Weed” is an action/thriller, and “When its Dry Outside” is from the suspense genre. Like all screenwriters, Strangers's dream is to win an Academy Award for best screenplay one day, and he is willing to earn it script-by-script.

Has it ever been dry in your town? I mean you really got it bad. You call your plug, he doesn't answer, so you hang up and call right back. You know if you go a day without some smoke your whole life is off track. You're stuck in the house; you don't want to have fun. All you want is some smoke, so you sit on the edge of your bed, and looking like Usher. Finally, the plug hits you back, and he will be there in 15 minutes. An hour later he arrives with some new shit. You liked the old shit, and you don't know anything about this new shit. But he swears up and down that it's better than the last shit, and throws in an extra gram for any inconvenience. You roll up the whole gram. At first, you don't feel anything, but then you start to peek, and then you can't remember what you've been doing for the last hour.

It’s starting to kick in now. He can hear his heart beating, and we all know it’s supposed to do that. Damn!
