Deep Drive: A Trinity Wilde Firm Hand Love Story, #4
()
About this ebook
Leo Harrow belonged to my Caribbean past, yet here he was in San Francisco, wanting my help on an "urban salvage job."
Tragedy and a cache of stolen gold coins had torn us apart years ago. Now he was seeking that same lost treasure here on land.
Once we had worked for rival salvage operations in the tropics. Back then we'd been secret lovers, and Leo had taught me the exquisite sexual wonders of discipline and surrender.
But did we dare dig up the past again? Could I trust him enough to submit once more to his firm hand?

Chapter 1
I’d had some major surprises lately.
Friends tended to confide in me—seriously confide, like spilling secrets they wouldn’t normally share with anyone. I had always been the girl who’s got your back.
In high school, girlfriends all told me when they’d lost their virginity. Guys who were tight with me confessed that they thought they might be gay or else that they had a secret crush on one of my friends.
Kylie Junis, at one of our gossipy lunches just a week ago, had dropped a big happy bomb on me.
I still can’t believe it, Viviana,
Kylie gushed. "He’s smart, sensitive, damn handsome and…and…"
Kylie was an attractive woman herself, twenty-six years old, the same age as me.
And?
I prompted, seeing she was bursting with her news.
"And—he likes rough sex! He knows how to dominate me in bed. Christ, Viv, you know how long I’ve needed a man like that!"
I did indeed know. Kylie and I had been close friends for years. I had recommended to her that she sign up with Hired Hands Trusted Temporaries when she’d suddenly lost her cozy job at a tech magazine. I worked for the Hired Hands employment agency myself.
I grinned. Kylie had told me about her long-held need for a man who could dominate and discipline her. I was immensely happy for her.
So who is he?
I asked.
Though we were alone on the restaurant’s patio, she looked furtively around before answering. In a hushed voice she said, Smith Gedde.
I nearly did a spit take with my grapefruit juice. Smith Gedde! He was a famous musician. I knew his work. How had—
But Kylie unwound the rest of the tale before I could ask. She had met him on a Hired Hands assignment, filling a kind of personal assistant role for him. They had fallen in love and now saw a great deal of each other.
Smith Gedde had been absent from the music scene for a few years, but now he was gearing up to release a new batch of songs. He, evidently, had found the same sexual and emotional fulfillment with Kylie as she had with him.
I did love a happy ending.
But Kylie Junis wasn’t my only friend, of course. She wasn’t even the only one who also worked for Hired Hands, a company which retained a wide variety of agents with disparate talents and capabilities.
Mira Belrose was another close friend, one I’d met through the agency. She was a formidable-looking but very lovely woman, an ex-semiprofessional boxer who’d always struck me as someone who could think on her feet and handle just about any situation.
His name is Jake Nova,
she said with stars in her eyes. We were at a wine bar in San Francisco’s Haight District.
I take it you’re dating him,
I said, smiling.
Mira grinned. Actually I’ve moved in with him. He has a condo in Pacific Heights. He’s wonderful, Viviana. Strong, intelligent, responsible. And…and…
I had a premonition of what she was going to say, but I let her spill it.
And
—she leaned toward me and said in a confessional whisper—"and he disciplines me, Viv. He makes me beg to be spanked. He’s not intimidated by my boxer’s physique. I resist him, but he overpowers me, every time. It’s absolutely wonderful…."
It sounded wonderful. I was as happy for Mira with her happily-ever-after as I’d been for Kylie.
But these disclosures of kinky sexual gratification, of asses smacked red by firm hands and the plundering might of strong domineering males, also served to exacerbate my own gnawing needs.
Though I was the repository of the secrets of others, I was myself harboring a big one.
It was this: I too longed for a dominating male hand and the sweet punishment that was the perfect expression of passion.
But I hadn’t had anyone to mete out such discipline to me in a long, long time.
Not since Leo.
Leo…a strapping man, a creature of the sea like I used to be in my reckless youth. I’d dropped out of college to become a Caribbean port bum, until I’d been hired on to Emmett Dime’s salvage boat.
Leo had worked for a rival diving gang. Our two ramshackle boats and crews had sought valuable goods lost overboard by other vessels. Sometimes we searched out other sunken craft, the older the better.
It was an almost piratical way of life, staying just ahead of the law. The salvage business wasn’t for a the faint of heart. I quickly learned how to dive. Emmett Dime, a gruff older man, had taken an unexpected shine to me, seeing potential I didn’t know I had.
I had crewed for him for nearly two years. We had plied and pillaged the seabeds of the Caribbean Sea, suffused with the heat and grungy glamour of the tropics.
During much of that time, Leo Harrow and I had carried on a forbidden passionate affair. He had unlocked my deepest secrets and longings. Before him I hadn’t known the dark pleasure of a spanking hand, the sweet caress of binding ropes on my wrists and ankles.
He made it all happen for me. He was the answer to the need I hadn’t ever suspected was within me. He needed me just as badly, a woman with the right character and physicality, with the strength to withstand and even defy him, with both of us knowing he would always win in the end.
The memories had stayed with me, of course. They were seared into my being. Dazzling sunlight, turquoise-bright waters, the pervading scent of the salty sea. All this was backdrop for the sting of his open palm on my ass, the brutal thrust of his cock into my mouth and deep into my pussy.
But I hadn’t seen or heard from Leo in years, not after what had happened with Emmett Dime.
Since those wild days I had returned to my hometown. I was a native San Franciscan, a relatively rare commodity. Somehow that birthright and a whole lot of luck had allowed me to live once more in what was becoming the most expensive city on the planet.
I had a small but decent apartment. I had a widely varying but stable employment through Hired Hands Trusted Temporaries. I had a good circle of quality friends. It was a satisfying, though far less adventurous, life that I was currently living.
Even lacking a lover who could gratify me at my deepest, most vulnerable levels, I was more or less content.
I envied Kylie and Mira both for having found their beloved masters, but I only wished them well.
Maybe there was still someone out there for me. I could only wait, and keep an eye out.
It was at this point that I received an assignment from Hired Hands. They sent out official texts. Jobs might be almost anything—running errands, helping with domestic chores. This was the modern gig
economy.
I clicked on the message on my phone, eager to get to my next gig. Every month it was something of a scramble to cover rent and bills. I had a longstanding personal policy of accepting any assignment I got.
But here came the biggest surprise of all, surpassing anything Mira and Kylie had told me just this past week.
I did indeed have a new gig.
Leo Harrow wanted to hire me for a salvage job.
