I should say first that I am a more or less ‘ordinary’ woman really. I am under forty (no, I am not telling you my precise age!). I have been married, with no children. Following my divorce, I decided to remain single. I admit to being frank, outspoken, with a ‘mind of my own’. Some would go further, and call me bossy or even domineering in my attitude towards other people. I have a good job in management, and that gives me the occasional opportunity to figuratively kick someone around now and again. To be blunt I enjoy this. In particular I like to control and override men in my work. Some of my male underlings obviously hate having a woman boss, and the more they hate it, the more I enjoy rubbing it in!

One day at work, something happened which was to change my life. A female colleague mentioned that she had bought an e-book reader, a ‘Kindle’, and was most enthusiastic. I am quite a reader, so I soon bought one myself. Hours of browsing on Amazon ensued. And it was there that I discovered the mysterious world of female domination. I knew at once that this was for me.

I was of course aware that many things written in these thrilling ebooks were fantasies. That was even sometimes made explicit. Also there was obviously a certain amount of exaggeration — particularly as far as the strength and endurance of men is concerned! Often I feel they are projecting how they would like to be rather than as how they actually are! Well, whatever about that: my eyes had been opened. I realised there is nothing wrong about me wishing to dominate a man — at least as far as quite a few men are concerned! Because it was clear from the amount of ebooks on offer that there must be quite a few men with a liking for submitting to a woman — at least in fantasy.

I had never realised there were so many of this type of man around. I
