Just Like Eden: A Short Sapphic Love Story

About this ebook
This is a love story at the beginning of the world.
Lilit was created from the dust, like Adam. She was made for Adam, but "woman" never sounded like "weakness" to her. She was cast out of Eden for the crime of refusing to yield to a man she never wanted.
When Lilit first spies Eva through the bushes, she means to hate her: Eva, the second wife of Adam, made softer and more yielding than the first. After all, she was carved from Adam's rib to be a lesser creature. Instead, proud, beautiful Lilit sees Eva and falls in love.
Here is a new twist on an old story, where women long for each other amidst a world of men and gods, and love is the ultimate Eden.

Lilit was cast out of the garden almost as soon as she was created. She had barely time to conceive of the world before she was being asked to submit, and she would not. It seemed unfair of the God who had made her. Exiled, and all for the crime of refusing to bend to the will of the insignificant, boorish man that God had made. Lilit was presented to her new husband without ever being asked if she wanted a husband at all.
She was run off from the garden, replaced with a new woman—one infinitely more docile, raven of hair and with less ample hips, a smaller bosom. As if Lilit herself had swallowed up every drop of femininity the Lord God had to offer. Eva, the man called her, and Lilit found it mawkish.
Lilit found herself spying, of course. She did it out of spite, and out of nothing else to do.
She did it to sharpen her hate on the pair of them: Adam and Eva. She did not expect what came next.
In the watching, Lilit grew fond of Eva. She began to see beauty (such blinding beauty!) in the fall of her hair. In the tan of
