About this ebook
Cowboy, Take Me Away by Kathleen Eagle
When photographer Skyler Quinn first saw gorgeous cowboy Trace Wolf Track, she liked what she saw. Everywhere she went– the rodeo, the Double D Wild Horse Sanctuary– there he was, and the heat between them built to boiling point.
As a widow struggling with a new life, Skyler needed to stay focused – especially if she wanted to achieve her dream of becoming a mother. Was Trace a fatal distraction? Or did this younger man hold the key to making all her dreams come true?
Husband For Hire by Susan Crosby
Becca Sheridan was desperate. The high–powered business woman had lied herself into a corner– and now she needed someone to pose as her husband! Handsome and charming, Gavin Callahan was just the sort of man her brothers might imagine she'd marry– and the sizzling attraction would make the deception all the more believable.
After putting his medical career on hold, Gavin let himself be persuaded to take the 'job' of Becca's pretend husband. But soon, the good doctor found himself falling for her. It almost made him want to apply for the job of groom– for real this time

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Eagle is always thoughtful and delightful, but it seems to me that the category length constrains her. I'm enjoying the series of books she's writing now, with glimpses into the worlds of wild mustangs, disability issues (not in this book) and more.
But. The banter in this book almost overcame the story and I ended up hungry for more. She's still way better than most of what's out there. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Skylar is a a widow who is trying to get a handle on her life. She is a photographer and horse trainer. Trace Wolf Track is a horse trainer and bareback rider. They meet at a rodeo when she is taking pictures. They are attracted and spend some time together getting to know each other. She wants a baby; he wants to keep on going down the road. He doesn't want to leave a baby behind. Any baby of his will have him as a day to day father. They need to work out their differences on their way to true love.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Very hard to read. The banter between the characters was inane. The story dragged on and on. There are 2 days of my life I won't get back.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book started out really strong for me. I was enjoying the setting and both main characters. But halfway through the heroine drops a bomb on the hero that really turned me off. I would eventually like to finish the book, but I'm setting it aside for now. Hopefully a little distance will allow me to get past what the heroine did and the hero's reaction to it.
