I See, My Meadow, I See
()
About this ebook
The eternal landscape of our souls
under the sunlight and darkness
of the aspects of modern life,
such as
SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CRISIS:
And we were wondering
what were the first of us following?
We didnt know,
not even this time.
FAMILY:
Your fears
are the robbers of my happiness,
Mum.
Send them to prison
and give me a hug.
LOVE:
Additionally, loves cosmogonic action
finally induces catharsis or disaster
like every healthy storm.
TRAVELLING:
A take-off
thats the point.
Whichever take-off
but now.
SCIENCE:
Whenever time drifts by you
it becomes integral and moist.
Whenever you push the time
you find it uncompressed.
ART:
I think that this is the way that poetry is used to appear.
Through cracks.
On the wall.
ILLUSIONS:
Panthers with chained hunger
stalk the end of the party.
ENVIRONMENT:
But you arent listening to me, city, you arent.
And you are making noise.
If you cant speak spotlessly,
at least shut up.
MOURNING:
Acceptance of the perishable stoically,
reception of the death well meaning.
Perhaps even for the most beloved.
And coconuts in free fall.

I See, My Meadow, I See - Nina Yiannopoulou
1. Physics
Whenever time drifts by you,
it becomes integral and moist.
And you are fast and light
since also buoyancy is on your side.
Whenever you push the time
you find it uncompressed.
Absolutely.
And you crack.
You are the only one that cracks.
The more forces you conscript
the more the cracks you get.
Your cracks.
Only yours.
2. Chemistry
How much additional lithium is needed,
Carbonate or sulphate or whatever,
300 mg, 600 mg, 1 g, 1 kg,
Let me give it to you
in order for you to come through
the excess shine
the excess dust.
In order for you to be able to see that,
that clean,
that cloudless grass’s green
preferably additionally decorated
with both of your beloved ladybugs.
My meadow.
3. Vegetarians’ dinner
Panthers with chained hunger
stalk the end of the party,
until the last guest will leave.
How long will it take?
One night? Two?
He will leave at last.
And then they will rush
like freed men
to your nice vegetarian body,
that is so much coveted.
Will you be able to resist them
showing forth with your carnivorous soul?
You have to further sharpen its claws,
to become as strong as is needed
to tear apart muscles of real beasts.
Hurry up.
Goodbyes have begun.
4. I Think
It usually happens after a mild earthquake
of the appropriate oscillation.
A crack is automatically created in the wall and
the native plants of speech appear
either widely read—dried
with a well-known music and scent in their
