The Breeze

the curtain sways.
A lovely apparition
delights my expectation.
My vigilance unpaid
yet I’m duty bound.
With unceasing hunger
my soul yearns for her.
The cool breeze welcomes
the uninvited rain.
The window panes protects
the swaying curtain.
She stares at me
with her dark eyes.
A thousand secrets
they tend to convey.
Behold that swelling bosom
a furnace of melting passion.
The chalky window panes
conceal the saucy smiles.
I sweat:—
The virgin fades
with the breeze.
The rain witnessed!
The Nuptial Night

The ravishing bride
in gold and crimson
lies on the taffeta
laden with Jasmine.
The full-moon smiles
at her meekness.
She trembles at his footsteps.
The lights fade away
as the fragrance of the joss-sticks linger.
She squeals at his grip.
Her lips are moisturized.
The nuptial apparel drops.
The rays falling on her bare
