All the patterns that you have followed or fallen into can shift as you move back to the image that God created you to be.

    I was born in rural Wake County in North Carolina, a fourth child of seven to John and Blanche Mitchell. Growing up, I experienced a good deal of hardship. As a small child, I had to be hospitalized and nearly died. This event was covered up, which angered me greatly. It was here that the “layers” were formed, and made it very hard for me to navigate through life. This anger lead me to create a world which would not allow healthy relationships with other people. The anger I felt from this incident spread from home to school to church. I felt I didn’t matter and couldn’t trust anyone. Writing my thoughts and feelings in this book was my healing process. Now I know forgiveness is possible.
