Elynor Frances Olijnyk is a graduate of Adelaide Teachers' College, South Australia and has enjoyed a career teaching and listening to young children for many years. The inspiration to write 'The Secret on the Loona Rosa' came from her son who is a Project Engineer in the Oil Industry and had a similar experience while on an intervention vessel in the South China Sea.
