INTRODUCTION

This book consists of several compiled documents done over a period of a few years. Words and phrases CAPITALIZED Denote Emphasis. I will begin with The One of Most Significance, or as The Comedian Jerry Clower would say, The main most one THE SABBATH AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE TO YOUR SALVATION.

At Exodus Chapter 20 Jesus Introduces Himself to The Nation of ISRAEL THROUGH The Prophet Moses as HE that delivered them from bondage in Egypt, and to Have NO Other gods Before Him. Do not make graven images because He is A Jealous God. Before He COMMANDED us how to live in peace, Security and EQUITY with our neighbor, He Commanded that we, REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, to KEEP it Holy. (Fourth Commandment)

After working The Six Days of Creation, He Rested on The SEVENTH Day, And COMMANDED, that we do the same. Satan Deceived US to believe that The HOLY SABBATH Doesn’t Matter. You Can KEEP ANY Day. They are ALL The Same, and we fell for The Lie. We worship objects made with hands and the heavenly bodies as the sun, moon and stars. (Ezek. 8:16)

Sunday, the FIRST day of the week is Satan’s COUNTERFEIT Sabbath, so all one can expect is PART TRUTH from his Sun-day ministers. Wrong day, wrong message! Satan’s message is about TAKING You to HEAVEN, WHERE HE DESIRES TO RETURN, after losing a war and being Cast Out, NEVER TO RETURN. (Rev. 12:7-8)

If You Attend Church On Sunday, Your PRIMARY OBJECTIVE Is to GO to Heaven. Does this Teaching Come From The Bible? If NOT, what is its Origin?

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lu’-ci-fer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to ground, Which Didst Weaken THE Nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE, ABOVE the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend ABOVE The Heights of The Clouds; I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH. (Isa. 14:12-14) All of his SUNDAY worshippers are HOPING to Go to HEAVEN with him. JESUS WHOSE DAY OF REST is The SABBATH, or SEVENTH Day of The Week, has the message of RULING ON THE THRONE OF DAVID AT JERUSALEM. (Genesis – Revelation)

The Lord hath Sworn in Truth unto David; he will NOT Turn from it; Of THE Fruit of Thy Body Will I SET UPON THY Throne. For The Lord Hath CHOSEN Zion; (Jerusalem) He Hath DESIRED It For His HABITATION. This is MY Rest Forever: HERE WILL I DWELL; for I have Desired it.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and Shall Call His Name JESUS. He shall be great, and he shall be called The SON of The Highest: AND THE LORD GOD SHALL GIVE UNTO HIM THE THRONE OF HIS FATHER DAVID: and he SHALL REIGN Over The House of Jacob Forever; and of His KINGDOM There Shall Be NO End. CHAPTER ONE

THE SABBATH AND ITS

SIGNIFICANCE TO YOUR SALVATION

When Is THE Sabbath, And What Are THE BENEFITS of Keeping It, and The CONSEQUENCE of NOT?

According to Random House Webster’s College Dictionary: Sabbath 1.The SEVENTH day of the week, SATURDAY, as the day of Rest and Religious Observance among Jews and Some Christians. (Ex. 20:8-11) 2. The FIRST day of the week, SUNDAY, OBSERVED BY MOST CHRISTIANS in Commemoration of The Resurrection of Christ. 3. A day of Rest and Prayer.

What DAY did Jesus COMMAND us to Keep, The FIRST or The SEVENTH? Let’s Examine The Scriptures.

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And On The SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED on The SEVENTH Day from all his work which he had made. And God BLESSED The SEVENTH Day, and SANCTIFIED It: because that in IT he had RESTED from ALL his work which God created and made. (Gen.2:1-3)

Creation Week ended and The CREATOR Rested on The Seventh Day. He had worked Six Days CREATING The Universe. Nothing Here, can be Changed because He Sanctified (make holy or consecrate) The SEVENTH DAY and BLESSED it. It is Like NO Other Day, because He SET it ASIDE as, HIS DAY OF REST. This Day SHADOWS a Future DAY, When The Whole Earth Will Be at Rest.

Every True Believer should Be Waiting and anxiously anticipating This Day. This is the day that the lion and lamb can lie down together, the baby can put his hand into the den of a serpent and no harm will come. Man will beat his sword into plowshares and his spears into pruning hooks. He will not seek to go to war and Peace will be on earth until the moon is no more. Death, pain and tears WILL Cease TO Be. The poor Will BE JUDGED in Righteousness and The Life of a Man Will BECOME as The Life of a Tree.

Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may PROVE them, WHETHER THEY WILL WALK IN MY LAW, OR NO. And it shall come to pass, that on The Sixth Day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be TWICE AS MUCH as they gather daily.

And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they GATHERED Twice as Much bread, two o’-mers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. And he said unto them, THIS is that which The Lord Hath Said, Tomorrow is The REST of The HOLY SABBATH Unto The Lord: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remained over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was any worm therein. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is A SABBATH UNTO THE LORD: to day ye shall NOT find it in the field.

Six Days ye shall gather it; but on The SEVENTH DAY, WHICH IS THE SABBATH, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out SOME of the people on The SEVENTH Day for to gather, and they FOUND NONE.

Israel had crossed The Red Sea only a few weeks earlier and HAD WITNESSED The Destruction of Egypt. They had exhausted the food supply that they brought out of Egypt and God was MIRACULOUSLY feeding them With Manna FROM Heaven. He Instructed Moses to have the people gather Twice as much Manna on The Six Day, because there would be NONE on The Seventh Day. Moses explained this to the people and told them that it was The REST of The HOLY SABBATH to The Lord, but Some Did Not Listen and went out anyway.

Moses had made it Very Clear that we should take care of our business as cooking, food preparation, cleaning or whatever Before Sundown on The Six Day, because The SEVENTH DAY, is The Sabbath of The Lord. THIS IS HIS HOLY DAY.

Disobedience seems to BE THE Way of Israel, whom Jesus had INITIALLY PLANNED to Teach His Laws to, and They In Turn Teach Them to The Rest of The Nations of the earth. He intended for Israel to be A Nation of Priest by Keeping THE Covenant that He Made with Abraham. (Exodus 19:4-6)

Disobedience to God’s Law is The Cause of sickness, pain, misery AND DEATH. It began with The First Man Adam and will end with The Second Man Christ. Yes, Jesus Will BRING To an END, Those That Refuse to Obey His Law AND ALSO DEATH.

And the Lord said unto Moses, HOW LONG REFUSE YE TO KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS AND MY LAWS?

See, for that The Lord Hath GIVEN You The SABBATH, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of TWO Days; abide ye every man in his place, let NO man go out of his place on the SEVENTH day.

This was several weeks before Israel came to Mount Sinai, where Moses was To Receive THE Two Tables of The Commandments and Already Some REFUSED to KEEP just that ONE Law. Don’t go out of your place on The SEVENTH Day. This is The DAY that The Lord has GIVEN You. Don’t go out of your place For WORK AND PLEASURE, but Rather FOR HOLY ASSEMBLY and Praising THE GOD of Creation. DEDICATE THIS DAY TO THE LORD.

So the people RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY. (Exodus 16:4-5, 22-30)

All Seven Days of God’s Creation Week Began WITH THE EVENING: An Evening and a Morning, The First day, and so on, and He Rested on The Seventh Day. Throughout The Bible, The Day Begins with The Evening. (See Joshua 8:29; 2 Chronicles 18:34; Nehemiah 13:19; Mark 1:32) The Sabbath is From Sunset FRIDAY until Sunset SATURDAY.

REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. Six Days shalt thou labour, and Do ALL thy work: But The SEVENTH day is The SABBATH OF THE LORD THY GOD: in it thou shalt NOT Do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in Six Days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and All that in them is, and RESTED on The SEVENTH Day. WHEREFORE THE LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY, AND HALLOWED IT. (Exodus 20:8-11)

Six Days thou shalt do thy work, and on The SEVENTH Day thou shalt REST: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and The Stranger, May Be REFRESHED. (Exo.23:12)

On this day All Labor is to Cease. Your children, servants, livestock, and The STRANGERS among you should Rest and Be REFRESHED. This is The Day to Keep Holy and Reflect on God and His goodness. This is The Day to TEACH The Next Generation What God REQUIRES of them to Inherit Everlasting Life. Obedience is, and has Always Been THE Key to Eternal Life, Since The Garden of Eden. Obedience to God’s Word is The Only Way for Him to Take Notice of You, that He Might WRITE Your Name IN THE BOOK OF LIFE.

Obedience is what GOT, and Kept God’s Relationship WITH Abraham. He Obeyed God Without Question. This is FAITH in Operation. In Order to Be CHRIST’S, YOU MUST Have The Faith of Abraham. Obey Every Word of God with ALL your heart. Otherwise, you are Not Abraham’s Seed, you Do Not Have The Faith of Abraham, and you are NOT Christ’s, no matter what The Devil tell you. You MUST Keep The Commandments.

And the Lord spake unto Moses saying, Speak thou ALSO unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily MY SABBATHS ye SHALL Keep: for it is a SIGN Between ME AND YOU Throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth SANCTIFY you. Ye shall KEEP The SABBATH therefore; for it is HOLY unto you: EVERYONE That DEFILETH It Shall SURELY Be Put to Death : for whosoever doeth ANY Work therein, THAT SOUL SHALL BE CUT OFF FROM AMONG HIS PEOPLE.

There is such a Blessing for those that At Least TRY to Be Obedient to The Seventh Day Commandment. It is The SIGN Between God and Those That ARE HIS. It is Holy to Him, and SHOULD Be to You. To IGNORE This Day will FOR SURE Get You CUT Off from The People of God. BUT, God has ALWAYS allowed man to get his ox out of the ditch On The Sabbath. He Knows The Sincerity of Your Heart. Sometimes things occur that you have no control of.

During the ministry of Jesus, The Religious Leaders Continuously Badgered Him about Healing people on The Sabbath, His disciples Plucking Grain, and Anything Else that they could think of to Possibly, Annoy Him. His Rebuttal was that THEY Are Hypocrites, because even what they do in Temple Sacrifice Service REQUIRED Some Form of Work. Religious Leader Were putting a Burden on the people that they would not lift a little finger for, or Taking THE Law to The EXTREME.

If it is REQUIRED of You to Work on The Sabbath, you have to DO what you have to DO, but at First Opportunity Get in Position to Obey God’s Commandment and See His Blessings poured on you, Firsthand, Beginning WITH Your HEALTH. You Will No Longer Load Your Belly with the Things that The Lord Has DECLARED AN ABOMINATION, because IF You KEEP The Sabbath, you will Also Strive to KEEP The Other Laws. (Deuteronomy Chapter 14, Leviticus Chapter 11)

Your Overall Health Will Improve Beginning WITH Blood Pressure and Cholesterol, AND, YOU ALLOWED YOUR BODY TO REST AND BE REFRESHED ON THE LORD’S HOLY DAY AS HE COMMANDED and He will rejuvenate you.

Six Days may work be done; but in The SEVENTH is The SABBATH OF REST, HOLY TO THE LORD; whosoever doeth ANY work in The SABBATH Day, he shall SURELY be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel SHALL KEEP the Sabbath, to OBSERVE The Sabbath THROUGHOUT Their Generations, FOR A PERPETUAL COVENANT.

It is A SIGN BETWEEN ME and The Children of Israel FOR EVER: for in Six Days The Lord made heaven and earth, and on The SEVENTH Day He RESTED, AND WAS REFRESHED. (Exodus 31:12-17)

When Moses came down from the mountain after receiving The First Set of Tables of The Commandments and saw what the Uncircumcised of Heart heathens had done In Regards to This Calf That Aaron Made, HE LOST IT! He BROKE The Tables of The Commandments. I would surmise he would think that maybe he should have KEPT his Mouth Shut and Cosigned WITH Jesus to WIPE Them OUT while he was on the mountain. By The End of The Next Forty Years he would have been Better Off because they nearly drove him CRAZY and CAUSED him to NOT, ENTER THE PROMISED LAND.

After making these heathens powder and Drink THE Calf mixed with water, he TOOK a Vote. Who is For The Lord and WHO’S NOT and he had Three Thousand Rebels Executed. I am sure that there Were OTHERS THAT NEEDED IT, as he later had To Do Korah when he rebelled against his leadership, but Jesus Took Care of it for him By Opening Up The Earth and Swallowed Korah and All his clan and Closed it Back Over Them. Jesus had told Moses to Separate them as to FOR and Against Him, as He Will Do at His Return when He Separates The Sheep from The Goats. With The Plague that Followed THE Rebellion, more than fifth teen thousand Rebels Perished. (Exodus Chapter 32, Numbers Chapter 16)

Jesus Knows THOSE that are His. He KEEPS REPEATING that The Sabbath is A SIGN Between HIMSELF and HIS People as a PERPETUAL Covenant. This Means FOREVER. Remove The SABBATH and you REMOVE THE IDENTIFYING SIGN BETWEEN THOSE THAT ARE HIS, and Those that are NOT. After Identifying Himself as The God that had just delivered The Israelites from bondage in Egypt and to Have NO OTHER gods Before Him, He Immediately told them to REMEMB ER The Sabbath Day to KEEP it Holy. This is The DAY That BONDS YOU TO The God of Abraham. It Can ALSO SEPARATE YOU FROM The God of Abraham. He did not tell us to REMEMBER any other day. THE REMAINING SIX DAYS, HE GIVES TO YOU.

Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, AND KEEP MY SABBATHS: I am the Lord your God. (Lev. 19:3)

Six Days shall work be done: BUT THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF REST, AND HOLY CONVOCATION; ye shall do NO work therein: IT IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD IN ALL YOUR DWELLINGS. (Lev. 23:3)

If Your Day of Rest and Holy Assembly is any Day OTHER Than The Seventh, where ever you reside, it is NOT The Day that The Lord GAVE You. The Seventh Day Sabbath is to Be Kept and Observed Throughout your generations No Matter where you live as an Everlasting Covenant, IF, You are going to Be Obedient to God’s Way. He Has Made it Plain THROUGH His Prophets His Way and Live, or your way and DIE. Man’s Way is what put Death on the table in The First Place, in The Garden of Eden. Had Adam Obeyed God, I WOULD NOT HAVE TO GROW OLD AND DIE.

And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that Gathered Sticks upon the Sabbath day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto ALL The Congregation. And they put him in Ward, (jail) because it was not declared WHAT should be done to him. And the Lord said unto Moses, The Man Shall BE SURELY Put To Death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And All the congregation brought him without the camp, and Stoned him with stones, And He Died; as the Lord Commanded Moses. (Num. 15:32-36)

NO COMMENT.

KEEP THE SABBATH DAY TO SANCTIFY IT, as the Lord thy God hath COMMANDED thee. Six Days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But The SEVENTH Day is the SABBATH of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt NOT do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy STRANGER that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may REST as well as thou.

And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: THEREFORE THE LORD THY GOD COMMANDED THEE TO KEEP THE SABBATH DAY. (Deuteronomy 5:12-15)

The Sabbath was to be a reminder of Israel’s Servitude in Egypt, and how with a Mighty Hand God had Delivered Them. He Continues to REITERATE The Importance of you Resting and allowing your servants and livestock to Rest. There is a Health Blessing when you shut the body down for Rest AND REFRESHMENT on The Sabbath Day.

God also COMMANDED a Sabbath for The Land. Allow the land to Rest Every Seventh Year and He Will REPLENISH The Soil WITH Required Nutrients to SUSTAIN your crop for The Next Six Years. So, Will He Restore The Health of Your Body IN LIKE MANNER, if, You SHUT IT DOWN on The Seventh Day AS The Lord Commanded. God REMEMBERS THOSE that remember Him. He takes a Personal Interest in those that OBEY Him BY Keeping His Commandments. He Will Put His SEAL OR STAMP On You and You BELONG TO HIM, He BECOMES Your SAVIOR.

Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all that are therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. Thou camest down also upon mount Si’-nai, and Speakest with them from Heaven, and gavest them Right Judgments, and TRUE Laws, good statutes and commandments: AND MADEST KNOWN UNTO THEM THY HOLY SABBATH, and Commandest Them precepts, statutes, and laws, By the Hand of Moses Thy Servant.

Nevertheless they were Disobedient, and Rebelled against thee, and Cast Thy Law Behind Their Backs, and Slew Thy Prophets which testified against them to TURN Them to thee, and they Wrought Great Provocations. Yet Many Years didst thou forbear them, and Testifiedst against them by Thy Spirit in Thy PROPHETS: yet would they NOT give ear: therefore Gavest thou them into the Hand of the people of the lands. (Nehemiah 9:6, 13-14, 26, 30)

There are SOME that will ask; How Do YOU KNOW When THE Seventh Day is, SINCE it WAS Instituted Way Back During Creation? As The Lord was Giving Moses His Laws at Mount Si-nia, He MADE KNOWN His Holy Sabbath Day. During this time of Israel’s history, Jesus was Very PERSONAL With His Chosen People. He Taught Them His Laws in regards to Hygiene, primarily, for prevention of the spread of disease, but ALSO, He Just Can’t Stand Filth. He told us to dig a hole and bury body waste, because He Actually WALKED Among Us and REQUIRED a food and drink offering, MORNING AND EVENING, Specifying its Preparation. (Exodus 29:37-46)

All of The Laws, statutes and commandments that Jesus Gave were for Our Benefit, but because we are a Rebellious People, we CHOSE to Go our OWN Way, IGNORE His Laws and Suffer The Consequences. We abused and Killed Every Prophet that God sent to us, PLEADING that we Change our way and Keep THE Commandments. Jesus tolerated us Much Longer than I could have, but He Eventually Turned His Back ON US and sent us into Captivity as slaves, To Be BOUGHT and SOLD around The Globe. We Would Not Obey HIS LAWS!!

After all that we had Witnessed in Egypt by the hand of Jesus, we did Not LOVE Him. He has Far More Patience than Humanly ME Could Have Had. I don’t think that Moses could have Persuaded Me to NOT wipe these heathens out and Start Over with his seed when they MADE The Calf. After all that The Lord had done Before Their Eyes, They Just DID NOT Love Their Savior and had no faith in Him. They Demonstrated Their Rejection of The Lord. Yet, He Still LOVES Israel. I do have Patience, but Some Things WEAR IT OUT. The Lord is STILL POLISHING Me.

Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for My SALVATION is Near to Come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is The MAN that Doeth THIS, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; THAT KEEPETH THE SABBATH FROM POLLUTING IT, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. Neither let the SON of The STRANGER, that hath Joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly Separated Me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a Dry Tree.

For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuch THAT KEEP MY SABBATHS, and Choose the things that please me, AND TAKE HOLD OF MY COVENANT; Even unto Them will I give in mine house and within my walls a Place and a Name better than of sons and of daughter: I will give them An EVERLASTING Name, that will NOT be cut off.

If you are Seeking Salvation, You MUST Keep The SEVENTH Day as The Lord’s Day of Rest AND Holy Convocation. He is NOT in church with you On Sunday Morning, The FIRST day of the week. That Was His First Day of Work: Creating Light.
