About this ebook

Our lives should always be rejuvenated, renewed, and revitalized. If not, what would be the outcome? It is never too late to resuscitate ourselves, our visions, and aspirations. Created in His image, God made us whole. We are not missing a thing. Sometimes we feel like we are shattered and have left pieces behind that are gone forever, but they are not.

The pieces of our lives predetermine a destiny. What pieces given to you have been misplaced, forsaken, pushed asunder, buried, tossed to the wind, stolen, etc.? Their value is inconceivable in life because they justify the blueprint regarding your purpose and its pursuit in life.

The compilation of Pieces addresses the resurrection of failures, broken dreams, hopes, aspirations, and whatever else caused the pieces of your life to seemingly unravel and cause you to question your identity and existence. Simply resuscitate and live! Live your abundant, predestined life. Why? Because you were created in the image of God.

Pieces reflects who you really are, not who you >em>think you are. You have to be cognizant of who you are in the eyes of God. You are called to soar on eagles wings.

Pieces launches you in that direction. Take flight!

    An Invitation

This book is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the boldness to embrace a leap of faith as I can do nothing without Him. It is also dedicated to my husband, Dennis. He was given a dream that came alive and manifested itself on the pages of Pieces. This dream, in some way or another, has spoken to all of us.

    Prelude

The dream. It was the dream. It was the crystal clear transparency of the dream that set everything into motion. He saw everything coming into his mind and when he woke up, looking straight towards the window, he was talking. The fact that he was talking is what awakened him. He could not stop until he delivered the entire message, repeating the things that he was hearing. What he was hearing was pouring through him like the effect of rippling waves. He did not have time to analyze what he was going to say, for he was simply the transmitter, as he called himself. It was a message for me. He was talking to me but I was asleep.

I am always asleep when my husband receives inspired messages. He shares them with me while I am sleeping, and, get this, he expects an answer. I hear him in my subconscious mind, but I cannot respond. I have asked him repeatedly to refrain from doing this, because it aggravates the living daylights out of me, but it has been to no avail. He keeps talking to me regardless, knowing that I am asleep. That is the worst part about this continually occurring ordeal. He should know that I am asleep because once my head hits the pillow, I am out like a light.

Anyway, around 3:00 or 4:00 a.m., his usual message window, he will just start talking and expect me to engage in an intelligent conversation. This was one of those times. However, on this occasion, I did wake up because he simply would not be silent. After slowly getting up, returning from the bathroom, and lying back down with my eyes halfway closed, I groggily inquired, "Now, what did you say? What were you saying, something about pieces? What about pieces? A piece of what? Who is Pieces? Who has a piece of what? I missed a piece?" He repeated some of the things.

I was so confused and disoriented, partly because I was still half asleep and partly because he had said so much I did not have time to grasp everything that was said. I always tell him to wait and not say anything to me unless I have time to retrieve a pen and a piece of paper. Sometimes, I even keep a clipboard and paper beside the bed for such occasions. When I inquire as to why he does not write these things down himself, his response is that he cannot because he forgets them as soon as he begins to write. There was no clipboard this time, so after mentally trying to absorb as much of the information as I could, I fluffed my pillow, laid my head back down, and went back to sleep, thinking that I was going to give Dennis a piece of my mind if he did not leave me alone.

The next morning I got up, walked into the kitchen, and prepared two cups of coffee. I usually do not drink coffee, but this day, I chose to drink a cup. My husband arose earlier with the message still on his mind. I knew that he would be in the den sitting pensively on the leather sofa. I handed him his cup of coffee and sat down beside him. He was quiet with the exception of a Thank you.

There was an extended period of lingering silence. I knew by his facial expression that he was in deep contemplation. The television was on, but the volume was turned down. He was nonchalantly gazing at it, but was not watching the program. I just sat there, imagining his brain picking up stimuli—gathering, sorting, and filtering information. Every now and then, his gaze became more determined, his eyes more focused. From experience, I knew that at some point in time, he was going to engage in some kind of conversation, for my husband, being the man that he is, cannot refrain from talking for a long period of time. He is indeed blessed with the dialogue gene. I, on the other hand, am the really quiet, introvert, although some, who know me, may not agree.

As I sat patiently and waited for the results of unbroken silence, and a sifting of recently acquired information, it happened. I was totally unprepared for what happened next, even though I
