This is a fictional story inspired by an ancient prophecy. It is based on true events, but the claims and connections to scripture are completely imaginary.

About the Author
In addition to writing this book, creating the cover and illustrations, I am also the featured model. You could say it’s my three-in-one project, as I try to be a self—sufficient artist. I wrote this as an e-novel to urge myself to complete it, as I started writing in 2008 but left the drafts with little progress; now it is a novella. The story is based on true events but is inspired by a biblical prophecy. It is influenced by the style and logic of authors Stephenie Meyer and Dan Brown, who both have a solid grip on reality yet create work that is highly imaginative and symbolic. I am an Egyptian living in Dubai, a wife, and the mother of one child. I’m also a full-time editor and passionate Twilight blogger (who would love to add author
to her resume). My education was in both Arabic and English but my major was in English language and literature. I received my BA and an MA in African American literature from Cairo University, where I studied black feminism and the novels of Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison. I grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and have been an expat with my family in various Middle Eastern countries since 2002. I have incorporated some of my most influential milestones in my narration, and I have unleashed my imagination to weave a story that I hope will inspire, educate, and entertain.
Acknowledgments
Isincerely wish to thank my dearest friends, Jan McCann and Beate Horst, for being living proof that love and friendship can transcend time, place, and distance. Without you two, I might not have carried on with my blogging or writing. You backed me up, motivated me, and helped me rediscover my passion for art in various forms. Though we have never met, our bond redefines the meaning of friendship. I love you girls and will always be indebted to you.
Prelude
Ever since I read the Book of Revelation, its detailed prophecy of the woman clothed with the sun has haunted me.
Everything around me started to decode into meaningful signs which affirmed my belief that this prophecy is a true, detailed account of saviors who will end an era of darkness. It is literally a prophecy unveiled as a series of revelations—not a vision written in riddles as many believe.
Timing and circumstance aligned and came together perfectly with my stays in eastern and western deserts. The detailed description of my scream at my son’s birth, the suffering I endured, and my gorgeous man-child’s entrance into the world. So many called him little man; a feature that has been associated with him since he was born and now as he evolved into Adonis, a beautiful young man out of ancient Greek Mythology.
Even the sun that I thrive in and wear as a pendant around my neck; I always cherished its warmth which characterizes my persona.
I have accepted the challenge to see beyond the hoax, beyond the false world that was created by the empire of the dragon that has lasted for centuries. In time I discovered who I am and who my son is and realized the gravity of the task that is expected of me. If it is indeed true, it would be insane and almost impossible to challenge a world heritage of hate that dismisses those who dare to differ or defy.
I broke from the one eyed, one-track minded legions of conformers who accepted and obeyed without the slightest doubt as
