The Honeymoon Is Over
The day started off great. Who would have thought it would end in disaster? My wedding day. It was supposed to be a dream come true. I caught my husband-to-be making out with his best man. My name is Lisa Taylor. I met my fiancé five years ago. I wasn’t even looking for love but GOD had other plans for my life.
The night I met him, I got off work late and had to run to the market. Just as I walked through the door, this gorgeous guy with the smoothest skin walked by. He was dark-skinned with light brown eyes. I said hello and kept on walking. Later, as I was in line, who would be behind me? He introduced himself as Russell. He said he noticed me when I walked in and had wanted to speak to me ever since. We paid for our items and stepped outside. Down the street was a café and we decided to go there to talk.
As we sat there, I couldn’t believe how much in common we had. We talked about everything. I felt as if I’d known him forever. When I finally looked down at my watch, I couldn’t believe the time. It was three a.m. We exchanged numbers and said our goodbyes. I didn’t expect to hear from him any time soon, but he called me later that day and asked me out for dinner.
Since I didn’t have to work late, I told him the time and place to meet. We had a great time again. After that we became inseparable. We hung out nearly every day after work. I would go to his place or he would come to mine. If for some reason we couldn’t hang out, we’d talk on the phone.
A year later, I moved in with Russell. It was tough at first, getting used to living with someone else but we made it work. Russell had his own construction business, so there were nights when he would come home late. Those nights I kept a hot meal ready for him. Plus I would give him a full body massage. He really loved those nights. I would take care of him all night long.
The sex between us was great. You could even call it mind-blowing. I never knew a guy before, who could make my body hot all over. We usually made love at least three times a week. It was more than that if it was a quickie. We enjoyed our life together.
Two years later, Russell and I were still hot and heavy. We planned a trip to Aruba for our anniversary that year. We couldn’t wait to go. Neither one of us had been there before. I made sure our bags were packed and our passports were ready. The day before we were leaving, I was doing some last minute shopping when I passed a jewelry store. I hoped that he planned to propose to me. We already knew we wanted to be together the rest of our lives. I loved Russell more and more each day.
The first day in Aruba was beautiful. The sun was shining; the water was the clearest blue I’d ever seen. We walked on the beach at night and swam during the day. We also shopped. That first night we made love, it was very sensual. The next day we got up, had breakfast, and enjoyed the day. On the fifth day, a couple’s massage was scheduled for us. Our massages were needed badly and felt great. Afterwards, we relaxed then went out to eat.
The next day was our last. We were taking a candlelight cruise that evening. I put on my tight black dress that showed just enough cleavage. Russell put on his black linen outfit that he always looked sexy in. We both had it going on that night. Walking hand and hand to the boat, we talked about how we would have to come back to Aruba someday. As we stepped inside, we saw that they had everything beautifully arranged. It was such a romantic setting. Was this going to be the night Russell proposed? I wondered.
We had a fabulous meal. After eating, we went out to the deck. Russell pulled me to the side and told me how much he loved me. Then he pulled a black velvet box from his pocket, as he dropped to one knee. "Will you marry me? He asked.
I yelled, Yes,
as he got up. This was the day I’d been waiting for all my life and it was perfect. Russell slid the five-carat diamond ring onto my finger. I was so happy. I knew I would never forget this day.
As soon as we got back home, things became a little hectic. There were weeks when we couldn’t even see each other even though we lived together. Russell’s construction company was jumping with business. I got a promotion at my job, which added extra hours plus an increase in salary. We also needed to plan our wedding.
Russell and I decided we wanted to get married in Aruba. So, we really had to plan in advance and send out invitations immediately. We wanted our guests to have time to get their airline tickets and rooms. The date was set for May of the next year. I started looking at wedding dresses. There was so much to do. It would be here before we knew it. We chose the Virgin Islands for our honeymoon.
After months of looking, I finally found my perfect dress. I couldn’t wait until we were married. Russell had found his tux. We sent out the invitations and waited for responses. So far only one couple couldn’t make it. They already had another commitment. As it got closer and closer to the big day, we started feeling anxious. Russell knew how much I wanted this day to be perfect. I had everything ready. It was going to be great. There were only three days left.
The day before the wedding, we arrived in Aruba, to take care of last minute things. Everyone else was arriving the day of. We had a nice plane ride over. I really hoped nothing would mess up our day.
The day arrived and I couldn’t believe I had overslept. I jumped out of bed and started getting ready. I had to get my hair and nails done, and it ended up taking longer than expected. By the time I got back to the room, everyone was there. I had two hours to get ready.
As I put my wedding dress on, I knocked over a cup of juice. It almost spilled all over me. That would have been just great,
I thought sarcastically. The wedding was going to be on the beach. We had invited fifty of our closest friends and family.
As I walked barefoot in the sand, I had this feeling that something was very wrong. Russell was not at the end of the aisle like he was supposed to be. I turned around quickly and went to look for him. I found Russell under the canopy, kissing his best man. I was so shocked, I screamed and ran off. Russell yelled, Lisa wait, I didn’t mean for you to find out like this, but I love him.
I slapped his face and ran off to tell everyone the wedding was off.
Just then I woke up and realized my disastrous day was just a nightmare. Our wedding turned out perfect. The weather was nice and sunny. Everyone showed up and we had a great time. Russell and I had written our own vows, which we recited and then said, I DO.
We went back to our room to change, and then met our guests at the reception. We cut our cake and danced until we couldn’t dance anymore. Everyone had so much fun. We didn’t want the night to end.
By the time we got back to our room, all we could do is collapse on the bed. We didn’t even have enough energy to make love. The next day we had a quickie before we left for our flight. It was time to get to our honeymoon. Our guests left that day too.
We finally arrived in the Virgin Islands and it was even more beautiful than Aruba. The water was even clearer there. But boy was it hot. All I could think was, I love Russell; he is so good to me.
We had to take a short boat ride over to St. John’s where we were staying at the Westin. The sights were amazing. As we got off the boat, the staff was handing out water bottles and hand towels. Did I mention how hot it was?
Our room had a king size bed with rose petals on it. They also laid out his and hers, terrycloth robes. On the table next to the bed, was a basket of massage oils we would definitely use later. This was all a surprise to me. Russell had called them the night before to tell them it was our honeymoon.
We could look right out to the beach from our window. The view was breathtaking. We unpacked, took a quick shower and changed. Then we were out the door to get something to eat. The restaurant there was called, Blue Diamond.
As we sat, we both began talking at once. "Wow, this is amazing! I said.
Who could have asked for anything more?" Russell asked. We stopped talking when our food arrived. Afterwards we went back to our room because it was late.
As we walked through the door, we took off our clothes. I immediately put on my sexy nightie; Russell took if off and started to rub my body down with the massage oil. He took his time too; my body was on fire by the time he finished. I wanted and needed to feel him inside me—now.
Russell started kissing all over my body. I was so hot, my legs were trembling. In a low sexy voice, I said, Come here, I want you now.
He slid his penis inside my wet spot as I moaned and lightly scratched his back. I moved slightly underneath him as I felt a tingling sensation burst inside of me. My climax came out nice and warm. I gently pushed Russell off me and he lay on his back. Starting with his lips, I worked my way down his body; I wanted to give him the pleasure he’d just given me. I got to his package, which was nice and hard. Slowly putting it in my mouth, I sucked him until he couldn’t take it anymore. Then I got on top of him, slowly moving up and down, squeezing my vagina walls to intensify the sensation. As I moved a little faster, Russell gave my ass a little spank that made my orgasm come out strong. He came with me. That was the best sex we’d had in a long time. We fell fast asleep.
The next morning, we made love in the shower. Then we went sightseeing and shopping. We got a few gifts for others. We tried snorkeling and diving in
