What It Takes: A Success Handbook
()
About this ebook
A topic summary of ambition, confidence (10 core philosophies)
Personal experience of how the realization of the philosophy came to be
Real-world steps how to learn and apply the skills needed to master each philosophy
Unlike many other self-help books, What It Takes is written by an entrepreneur who is on the journey rather than by an already hugely successful or already wealthy person looking back.
What It Takes will give you an edge over other entrepreneurs and will effectively be a success handbook to keep with you and guide you to success.
Brian Mawdsley
Brian Mawdsley went from living on the streets in a foreign country to being on the brink of massive wealth through trial and error, blood, sweat, and tears. Today, Brian runs a renewable-energy business and social media company and oversees an NPO helping entrepreneurs grow.

About the Author
WHO SHOULD READ THIS BOOK?
Do want to get ahead? Do you want to avoid the mistakes I and so many others have made? Do you want to learn from somebody who has been on the streets, in the trenches and in the board room? If you want to have the edge on others who are also trying to be successful this book is for you.
If you want to learn tips, tricks and have a success handbook in your pocket to refer to this book is for you. There are many very successful writers, speakers and entrepreneurs who each have their own story. The value that this book offers you is simple, Skills that could take you years to learn through many hours of blood, sweat and tears can be learned in a matter of a few hours after reading this book.
Each of the chapters in this handbook are from my own life experience and although I am not a household name (yet) I am well on my way and the advice covered in this book is based in reality from a person who is not successful like so many other success gurus. I had virtually completed the book when I was invited for an interview on a radio station and when they introduced me and the book they referred to it as the success handbook for Entrepreneurs. This was a bit of a surprise as it had not really started out that way.
This made me really rethink each chapter and look at how this book could in fact be a success hand book for more than just people looking for success but specifically for the entrepreneur. I did not need to change much, merely a few references. The quest for success, be it in life or as an entrepreneur is very similar. The tone of this book is now more targeted, so that not only the individual looking to better their lives can make use of ideas in the book, but also the entrepreneur.
This book is not meant to be read from start to finish like a normal novel, it rather offers insight into the life lessons that we all need to learn at some point to be successful, in life or as an entrepreneur. I have used the idea of sound bites
that can be easily digested and internalized.
INTRODUCTION
I have had 36 years of life, that in itself does qualify me to a certain extent to write about success, how to achieve it and what not to do,
