Julie Emch

Julie Emch is a retired middle school math teacher who is the mother of HM3 Lucas W. A. Emch, killed in Iraq on March 2, 2007. This, her first book, is loosely based on a story he told her about being a small boy in the woods behind their home. Mrs. Emch wrote and illustrated this book to help keep his memory alive. She also has a daughter, Samantha, who is a veterinarian. She lives in Ohio with her husband, dog and cat.
