It’s been quite a while since I last learned of a hitherto unreported encounter with a genuine winged cat, i.e. one whose ‘wings’ consist of stretchable extensions of furry skin (due to a rare genetically induced condition called feline cutaneous asthenia, as I discovered back in the 1990s), rather than merely clumps of matted fur.
