    A Warlock’s Tarot Edition III 3rd December 2011 www.fairwaycottage.co.uk

Sat astride many wheels the Sphinx- Fantasy’s Insane Witchworld’s Illusion,

    Sky Burial 2008

We are inside the circle when the Sun shines upon us, then turn to look outside at night… towards the outer planets- Third stone from the Sun! Sun Nineteen and out to God! The Earth rotates anticlockwise and also orbits anticlockwise through the signs…

    Beyond the Fool

    We live or die

We’d like to make the rules

But we are free to choose

The Emperor’s Tarot- A Warlock’s Tarot- allied to the Church in these later days- see the mention on the church fete notice here in this village for raising money by tarot card readings, and our subsequent acceptance in the wider community. A Warlock challenging both Orthodoxy and the Arcane. We look at the world with the planets on the horizon… We are just peoples of Earth… perhaps a mining colony. Being Planets they represent huge numbers of people, entire systems under each Trump. As the cult of the Emperor becomes ever more popular, the Emperor and the Empress, the double-headed eagle, male and female in union, in families and communities, we see a structure emerging for Spaceship Earth, where Christ and the twelve disciples form the inner sanctum, and beyond it the wider diaspora…

For my Second Edition of this Tarot I subdivided the deck into the twelve signs of the Zodiac, as my writing on the sign of Aries was published in the March 2005 issue of The Four Shires Magazine. Unfortunately they did not go on to publish an entire year’s Zodiac, but this is how I decided to format my book, thinking that a Zodiac sign provides an easier introduction for most people than a Tarot trump. Aries the sign of the Emperor, the start of the astrological year.

For my Third Edition- There is a band of men and women that dress in the liveries of the Elements- it is A Warlock’s Tarot. The twelve chapters combine to form a Zodiac, a calendar year, that through our birth dates everybody is part of. The Emperor’s court is united in celebrating life and benefitting mankind. A Warlock’s Tarot Edition III comes straight from www.fairwaycottage.co.uk. It describes seven columns weekly wide, four weeks to a month, twelve signs to a year, black on white, thirty-two pieces to a chessboard, three numbers or rites for each sign, spells and affinities, interactions, six cards for the facets of each sign. We are all in relationships- a workshop is to give readings, for it is in a workshop that we unravel our games, and A Warlock’s Tarot will show you how, with all the colourways, meanings, and people in the cards. At the beginning of the Third Millennium we have come some way from being burnt at the stake for Heresy! Like the swarms upon the streets… Like what are we or they all doing here, while we are here, or doesn’t it really matter? The Warlock can help to discuss it, as a channel to Higher Forces, and can mend some situations and enhance others. The Book is called A Warlock’s Tarot, the Deck is called The Warlock’s Tarot.

A Warlock’s Tarot is like a guide to our minds- our ambitions, our hopes and fears, and what we are able to create, tangible or otherwise, like building up a map or chart of your immediate surroundings, visited, seen and conquered! Some ideas can progress quite far…

    Invoking love?

    Summoning money?

    Encouraging money?

    Drawing down money?

    Banishing evil?

The Tarot describes a completed wheel revolving from Change to Change, the Law of the Magus, where we are all somewhere, not only in time and place, born on this planet. A bright future or doom awaits us as we work through our pathways… The human condition of Man and Woman pairing off as couples… Till Death do us part etc… The pressure of the moment, the strength of togetherness… the beauty of union… the reward of common ground… the promise of immortality… the skirmish for booty!

Think of the Court Cards as the Men and Women of Spaceship Earth, the structure of the Qabalah as order out of Chaos. A Warlock’s Tarot could almost be a traveller’s Tarot, as we are orbiting lonely on this planet, a small guide or rulebook. The Emperor and his chapters of men and women engaged in conquest… or gathering for a party! As the Wheel turns and the Tower burns… or perhaps the love affairs of Venus are more important than the conquests of Aries!

    A Man, a Woman, then a Woman
