About this ebook

As I lay on the floor lifeless, watching my daughter cry Mommy, Mommy, get up! Mommy, please get up! I could see the pain in her face and hear it in her voice. I cried out, Lord, save my soul and take care of my children! Immediately, I was returned back to my body. I am so glad that when I left the Lord, he didnt leave me!

Hi, my name is Loretta, and I thank God I don’t look like what I have been through! And where I started from is not where I’m gonna finish! I’m the mother of three beautiful girls, all of whom everybody thought wouldn’t amount to anything because of who I was. But how many know when God saves one, he saves the family. I’m still a work in progress; he is not finished with me yet. I take care of my mother, who had a massive stroke, and my prayer daily is that the Lord will let her last days be her best days. Step by step he has taken me from the projects to my palace. I pray that everyone who reads this book can see just how merciful the Lord is. He is able to give you back everything that was taken from you. He has restored me mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially. If he did it for me, he can do it for you. May God bless you!

    CONTENTS

    Part 1

    Part 2

I would love to acknowledge and express my gratitude to the Holy Spirit who has brought all things back to my remembrance. To the Father and the Son who are truly the head of my life and because of the Trinity I am able to live my life inside of the light. To my three beautiful daughters Janet, Ashley, and Brittney who I love with everything that I am and in spite of all that I went through, they never judged me or looked at me without love and because of that, it made me want more for them than I wanted for myself. To my mother Janet who has been my sounding board, I thank her for the life and the love she gives me and for being there even when she didn’t have to be. To my grandmother and my father who I know are looking down and watching over me saying I knew you could do it. I dedicate this book to all of the love that I have received from all of them, now I know that it was given so that I can give it back. May God bless you all!

Mama said girl you are going to make me mad you’re going to school and that’s final. By this time my mind was made up I wasn’t going! I was going to leave school, that’s the first time I felt like playing hooky.
