KALENT ZAIZ

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I thank the internal strength, freedom and power that every human being designates with different names, according their belief, philosophy, intelligentsia or ignorance; the sovereignty that grants each person the ability to feel, touch, smell, hear, to call as they please that tool that strengthens them. I thank the wisdom of being aware that the eternal quest for knowledge authorizes us to grow.
I thank all and every person who, in one way or another, has been an important part of my evolution. I thank my daughter, Zaizlin Sánchez, for being my best friend and having, at her young age, enough maturity to understand my actions and to be my accomplice. I thank my son, Braxton Sánchez, for confirming in every question that not only ignorance can be daring, and for the energy and strength he gives me step by step. I thank them for believing me capable of transforming the seemingly impossible.
I thank all my students for being an important part of my learning and allowing me to see them develop and expand as social values.
It is unavoidable to express my gratitude to all print, radio and TV broadcasters that have been present in my career; to the public, which has worn out this long and continuous walk. I thank to country, my people that, no matter where I may be, is there to remind me of my origins; I thank the companies that have supported my projects; my artist friends and directors for the collective growth.
Thanks to the artists that made these images possible through time:

1.JPGDREAMING OF KALENT
I dream of Kalent
of green skin
of blue skin
of orange skin
of purple skin
and with the moon
sleepy between her lips.
I dream of Kalent
woman
with seven rivers
playing
in her hands calm arabesque.
I dream of Kalent, fruiting
in her four cardinal points.
I dream that Kalent has her own skies
and her Sun and rains and miracles that come and go
and a January of sands
and a balcony anguish at two in the morning
and angels that wash her face
and an Amazonian belly with angelic plants
and in my dream
she creates me
in her belly button
and sinks me in her vitality
and in the dance
of her green skin
of her blue skin
of her orange skin
of her purple skin
finally,
in the celebration
dancing and agitated
of her water skin
she makes me swim in her infinite
where there are no more laments
over a dream
lost
already long ago.

BROWNIES

Script for fiction
Screenplay: Kalent D. Zaiz
Storyline: Kalent D. Zaiz
2.JPGSYNOPSIS
Based on real events, it tells the story of a 35-year-old foreign woman, residing in Nicaragua due to a employment contract, accompanied by her children, both minors. At the height of Christmas, this woman is invited by the wife of a co-worker to spend a few days with her children at their home on an island off the coast of Nicaragua. She accepts the invitation so her children wouldn’t spend the holidays bored, but a day before, she receives a call from her colleague, who tells her that he would pick her up to talk about travelling expenditures and that she has to accompany him to a party. That night, something that puts her physical and emotional integrity and her life in God’s hands happens. In this story, the work and honesty of public institutions, where trust in others is paramount, is tested.

FADE IN.
EXTERIOR. EDUARDO’S INN (RESTAURANT. NIGHT).
The camera focuses on a cauldron with boiling oil. When we look, some feminine hands throw slices/plantain/bananas to get fried. An obese girl, with a beautiful smile, shows the variety of dishes for the night. The camera moves towards the precipitous laughter of a group of girls and penetrates into the interior of the mouth (FADE-TO-BLAK). We see Teresa, who finishes her dinner. She looks at her bored daughter, who hits the plate with the spoon, while her son makes gestures with his mouth.
TERESA
Finish your dinner, daughter.
THE DAUGHTER
I’m full. (Turning her head away from her mother). You said we would go for a walk at Christmas. The year is already ending, and we haven’t gone to my country in all the year. All the time from school to home, from home to school, locked in this damned country.

(Breathing deep not to lose patience). I know I said that, daughter, but the situation is very difficult… I cannot spend money on that trip right now.
At that moment, Teresa watches her coworker, Antonio, arrive, with his
