Jean Hadsell-Hahn Rusco was raised on a farm with five siblings and Christian parents. She later married a farmer’s son, and they purchased a farm together. Due to her husband’s diabetes, she returned to college to support their family of three children. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management and worked fifteen-plus years in the field. She completed her work experience with the US government, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. She was named “Woman of the Year” for the Industry of Medicare by the National Association of Professional Women for the Year 2010–2011.
