THAT FRIDAY is like a bible of poetry that has been superimposed by the author’s ideologies. The theme ‘truth’ gets the reader to be open-minded about what’s to come. In order for them to be able to penetrate and fully comprehend the world of the book, they have to temporarily forsake their own interpretation of the notion of truth, as well as their pre-conceptions of life in general. It is a fascinating book that uses the medium of metaphors as well as the common everyday realities of life.
The chapters of the book are like dominos, coherent and dependent on the previous one. There are, however, some turning points where the author can lose you as they tap into the depth of the essence of what they want to express.
There are various themes within the content of the book. The first one is the three dimension of life, namely past present and future. It inspires one with regards to the discarding of yesterday, alignment for today in preparation for implementation of their God given assignment which will take place tomorrow. The second one is faith, peace and contentment. All these take place within the confinement of the untapped potential that’s hidden in the spirit, the adaptable soul which affects the outcome of your life and the container called the body.
Finally, this book is a must read. It takes you on a journey that only few ever get to travel their lifetime. To those who will take the time to go on this journey, happy reading.
