Maggie L. Little
Am a very realistic type individual who simply views things for the way they are. And not the way I wish them to be. Born in the clay hills of Morven, North Carolina. You learn early of struggles, trials, and tribulations. Although life was hard,'My mother was a unique woman of Strength and courage. That didn't allow her situation to Take any form of love from her children. A single woman that raised 7 daughters and 1 son. All on her own. And my brother standing firmly taking on being the man of the house. I have to give all honor to my Lord and Saviour,.Jesus Christ. And to my mother she give me the tools that allowed me to be who I am and to be proud in being so. Walking the world growing into the unknown of not being prepared For what lies ahead. I stumble upon being raped, abused, and used. I acknowledge how fortunate I am to tell my stories. And realize that many aren't as fortunate. Just above teenage hood trying to take upon the world. As if you're woman enough to understand what it's all about. And you rapidly return to your mother's arms.. And watch as the tears pour. Continuously from her eyes Not for a child lost But. for one God has safely brought back home. You know it stills baffles me sometimes how someone has the power to speak life into someone whom consider there life done. I no that someone understands cause in my daily walk I often see those same little girls that's broken like me. Am not afraid to bring light to subjects. That, I know other's would soon rather forget. Love, Hate, Molestation, Rape, Addiction. Told in Urban poetry and short story form. Speaking truths as I see it and not how others who feel would gain more by forgetting. See there no band-aids for the mind. Some scars you have to walk threw to get a understanding why they were there in the beginning. Truth, Rhymes & Reality Untold.

MOTTO
….Junior Glory…
Cradle to the grave is how I thought it would be.
I felted your spirit the whole time God shared you with me.
He already knew that it would be for only a little while.
What good is a mother without her child?
For what reason God felt, we should depart.
I feel that I can never lose you; your spirit dwells within my heart.
I acknowledge there is apart of me that left with you that day…
Moreover, when I miss you most I go down on my knee and pray…
As the Angels watch over you in your heavenly playground,
I feel peace within Jr’s Glory and the playground he shares’ with his friends…
Were he smiles and laughs, long as the day gives night enjoying
A God that makes everything feel right…
I will see you again were departure is no more…
On God’s heavenly playground were I can watch you soar…
In addition, our Goodbyes will be no more…
Jr’s Glory….
Chains….
Chains of bondage life of reality…
Why no one see’s the hell?
That is so clear to me…
Conversating with people who you know…
However, there voices and speech seems unfamiliar to me…
Many chains of bondage that makes even a foolish man cry…
Moreover, a wise man laughs…
Entering the unknown, which seems to be part of my everyday life and reality…?
Chains of bondage could be a downfall to even someone such as me.
Even in the darkest of days, He shows me a shadow of light…
Knowing in darkness, God still shows light…
I acknowledge my chains with every loop that falls…
Giving honor to God because he breaks them all.
One day I will walk free leaving all my chains behind.
Was there remaining a memory of days gone by…
Yet another stone that was yet to be turned over in my life…
Lord, take them all please let me free, And he answered the biggest chain that yet to be broken is the one I carried inside of me..
Love, Lost, Lock…
Unknown Man…
For the lamb at the center of
The throne will be there shepherd…
He will lead them to springs of living water.
In addition, God will wipe away every tear from there eyes.’’
Daddy remembers me stricken from my mother’s womb…
Were you ashamed that my skin would carry your complexion?
That my hair would be Nappy like the root of your soul…
Maybe that my handicaps.
Would have been more then you could bear…
Down syndrome or maybe a wheelchair…
Were you ashamed, because you’re D.N.A…I shared?
Long, lost, love never gotten.
However, my father kept me warm in a space only a mother can provide.
A shelter protected from people a lot like you. Fake eyes and heart of a rattlesnake…
Who are you? To look down on me, As if I were a memory of your regrets…
To be ashamed of me is to hate you.
How does it feel to look in the mirror and be unable to recognize whom you see?
Because what you see is a reflection of you looking upon me…
(Man in the Mirror)…
Man on Man…
Some say like a jungle sometimes it makes you wonder how you keep from going under…
Woman taking the role providing keeping things under control…
Man taking the steps of drinking, drugging, never there to give descent loving, to console.
Just like Cain & Abel of biblical times…
Cain killed his brother in (rage) and he continues to kill his brothers.
Destroying homes, leaving people homeless, taking mom’s from kids…
Leading the educated on new life’s experience of street and surrender…
As you stand and say, how something so small makes you lose it all.
Giving into the trickery of life, while poverty is high…
Job’s are loss; Men are imprisoned, turning to one another for passion, and security…
Leaving there masculity on the head of another man’s penis…
Coming home to a woman of the unknown loving this other man in his own soul.
While you as a woman wonder were you fit in his life…
Not realizing you are not equipped for what he has been served…
Now you are lost because you cannot figure out why he cannot love…
As the mystery unfolds, He rather have another Man to have and Hold…
Lady of Midnight…
There is a woman in life that is taken mostly all my good men away…
That woman of midnight takes him to ecstasy on a mighty high…
In addition, when she makes love to him, it is a feeling he cannot deny…
All of his troubles seem to be set free, least that is what she has him to believe.
That woman of midnight makes him soar…
Until when she is gone he robs, and steals for more…
That woman she’s hard to let go…All though she takes what
