About this ebook
People never realize that just by looking in someone's eyes what that says about them, and the walls around their heart they build to keep from being hurt by the scars that they carry daily of the reminders of love gone bad. Like me, their are other people in the world, who have had their lives torn apart, but they to, took a stand in life to raise their children, salvage their lives, and come out of it still believing in hope and God. Life isnt easy, and it never meets any of us half-way, but do we fear the unknown and just let it consume us...or do we realize life is all about chance and circumstance, I cannot answer for you, but for me, it is my time, not to sit it out, but dance.
Stacy Cook-Cooper
I have always enjoyed writing poetry, but never thought of ever publishing any of it. A good friend of mine once told me I was missing my calling in life, that I had a "Gift" in writing and I should pursue it. I later came in contact with a man, who I feel inspired me. Night after night, just by looking into his eyes I began to write. It seemed that he in some miraculous way, just pulled the words right out of my soul. Although, he and I met, he didn't feel a love connection with me, but we still remain good friends, as he did say I was an Amazing Lady with a Amazing Mind. The title of my book, "The Blue Rose That Lives Within", I dedicate to this special man, in that he was the first man to ever try and buy me a single, blue rose, which is my favorite. Blue Roses are unttainable, unique and that of a mystery, and I relate myself to them. I symbolize myself as the Blue Rose, in that I too, like it, am unique and somewhat of a mystery. There was a time in my own life that I questioned God, because of everyday struggles that I faced. Believing in God and never letting go of my dreams has lead me to where I am now. As the Blue Rose is cradled in God's Hands, just like I am, in that as long as we pray to God to help us with the obstacles and struggles in our lives, he cradles us in his arms and makes our dreams possible. In reading my book, if I inspire just one person they to, can relate to my life, and feel the explosive, emotional journey hidden deep within me, and relate it to their own struggles and obstacles, realizing that their is Hope, in their lives as well. My name is Stacy Cook-Cooper, I am a single Mom to two of the most wonderful children. I have a teenage son and a daughter. We, together struggle through lfe, but we share a unique bond, that of family, security and love for eachother, that like a candle, as long as we hold tight to hope and believe in God, it will eternally burn inside of us . I live in Montrose, Georgia, a sleepy little tumble-weed town on the North end of Laurens County. I was born the last of four girls to a very prominent family in the community. Although, both of my parents are now deceased, I feel they would be very proud of me now, in that I hung on to a dream and made it a reality. I hope you enjoy reading my book. Stacy

The Blue Rose That Lives Within
. . . I dedicate to a very Special Man
as he is the first to ever try and buy me a Blue Rose. He inspired me to write night after night in his own unconditional way. He and I met and although he felt compatibility, he decided that we should just be friends.
I will always be thankful for his inspiration as he said I was an Amazing Lady with an Amazing Mind and those words I will hold in my heart forever!!!
I would like to say Thank You
to Jeannine for realizing I had a ‘gift’. She is the backbone and the push I needed too write my book because she always saw the potential and never gave up on me. For her friendship and support, I am eternally grateful.
To my closest of friends, thank you all for your love and support, the nightly readings I put you all through, and the many emotions I expressed. Thank you for being my rock
and just the most awesome friends anyone could ask for.
