About this ebook

THE MESSIAH (Second Edition) completes The Uncensored Word trilogy. This book is filled with instructional type information about respect, good order, and love for our enemies. Christ came into his fleshly existence with a soul full of wisdom beyond mans understanding. Driven by his spiritual connection, he single mindedly executed Fathers plan. Once the messages were all delivered, Christ sealed the overall message with his death, resurrection, and promise of return. The chronological combination of twenty-two individual books in the King James Version of the Bible, allows the reader an opportunity to put themselves back in the time when Christ walked this earth in the flesh.

This book focuses on Christs fourth appearance in scripture: (1) Tree of Life in Garden of Eden (Est. March 4004 BC); (2) Melchisedek (Approx. 1924-1921 BC); (3) Fiery Furnace (Between 461-454 BC); (4) Flesh Life (December 25, 5 BC-30 AD); and, (5) Return and rightful placement as Tree of Life in Eternity.

Each of us came into our fleshly existence with a soul unaware of earlier existence with God. The flesh allows for separation and free-will. Some of us find our way back to GOD through the Messiah before we draw our last breath. Regardless of how we live our life or what we choose to believe, we eventually draw our last breath and find ourselves back with GOD and subject to his judgment.

THE MESSIAH (Second Edition) will help the reader check what they know about Christ with what is actually written. This book helped the author decide if "Lord of Lords" and "King of Kings" meant Christ would be our Lord or if it meant he was born the greatest of both. What do you think and will scripture support your view?

The Uncensored Word: The Messiah (Second Edition)
Author

D. J. Bahr

Bahr found herself engulfed in the spiritual side of existence very early in her life. Without those personal spiritual experiences as a guide, Bahr could still be searching for the answers today. THE UNCENSORED WORD trilogy (GOD'S GIFT; PROPHECY COUNTDOWN; and THE MESSIAH (Second Edition) reveals Bahr's personal testimony and belief in the here after.   Background research for this book revealed the Virgin Mary's lineage stemmed from Arphaxad's other son Cainan. The record shows Arphaxad had two sons, Salah and Cainan. I have to wonder if people knew this when Christ ministered.  Perhaps you are wondering what is so special about this book when so many books have been written about Christ. Well, this book is designed to allow you to be guided by the word itself. If you have ever wondered what the bible says...this book will answer those questions. If you have ever wanted to just read about Christ himself...then, this book will reveal Christ to you in chronological order. This book simply makes it easier for the reader to see Christ for what he is, what he was destined for, and for what he achieved.

    Introduction

The Messiah begins at the time when the Virgin Mary finds herself betrothed to Joseph. The betrothal is based on custom and God’s will in the year 5 BC. Chronological assembly helps bring the information to life before your very eyes. Picture for a moment, sitting down at the kitchen table, seated with various authors, each telling their account of an event. You are there in the midst of the words, listening to each author tell you their side of the event, just as history reveals the information.

THE MESSIAH (Second Edition) completes my trilogy. Through the assembly of The Uncensored Word books (a) GOD’S GIFT; (b) PROPHECY COUNTDOWN; and, (c) THE MESSIAH (Second Edition), I am able to share my gift of understanding as it was shown to me over an intensive ten year study period (1994-2004.) I view my understanding very seriously and believe I have been given the information in time to warn others (King James Version (KJV), Ezekiel 33:1-6) of the coming end time events.

(KJV, Ezekiel 33:1-6) "1. Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2. Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3. If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4. Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will require at the watchman’s hand."

A few special individuals listened to me talk about THE MESSIAH endlessly. One individual stands out before the others in my mind. Mrs. Dependable is a bright, intellectual, and giving individual. She found the time to talk to me weekly no matter where her job sent her. Mrs. Dependable kept me grounded. Through Mrs. Dependable’s eyes I was able to see God’s view of us so differently. God and Mrs. Dependable both love unconditionally with no guarantee of reciprocation.

    Chapter I

    Mother

20 BC-48 AD (67 years of flesh life)

#1. The Messiah’s mother Mary is betrothed to Joseph in 5 BC. Almighty God selected an elderly widower named Joseph as Mary’s betrothed. Joseph (95 BC-16 AD) was not in search of a new wife. Knowing no righteous man would disrespect our heavenly father by refusing to comply, Joseph obediently accepted responsibility for Mary’s safety. According to scripture, Joseph and the Virgin Mary were separated by fifteen generations:

    -Joseph’s Genealogy-

(KJV, Matthew 1:1-17) "1. The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2. Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3. And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4. And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5. And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6. And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7. And Solomon begat [i]Roboam; and Roboam begat [2]Abia; and Abia begat [3]Asa; 8. And Asa begat [4]Josaphat; and Josaphat begat [5]Joram; and Joram begat [6]Ozias; 9. And Ozias begat [7]Joatham; and Joatham begat [8]Achaz; and Achaz begat [9]Ezekias; 10. And Ezekias begat [io]Manasses; and Manasses begat [ii]Amon; and Amon begat [i2]Josias; 11. And Josias begat [i3]Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they

were carried away to Babylon: 12. And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat [i4]Salathiel; and Salathiel begat [i5]Zorobabel; 13. And Zorobabel begat [i6]Abiud; and Abiud begat [i7]Eliakim; and Eliakim begat [i8]Azor; 14. And Azor begat [i9]Sadoc; and Sadoc begat [20]Achim; and Achim begat [2i]Eliud; 15. And Eliud begat [22]Eleazar; and Eleazar begat [23]Matthan; and Matthan begat [24]Jacob; 16. and Jacob begat [25]Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. 17. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations."

    -Virgin Mary’s Genealogy-

(KJV, Luke 3:23-38) "23…being (as was supposed) the son of [40]Joseph, which was the son of [39]Heli, 24. Which was the son of [38]Matthat, which was the son of [37]Levi, which was the son of [36]Melchi, which was the son of [35]Janna, which was the son of [34]Joseph, 25. Which was the son of [8]Simeon, which was the son of [7]Juda, which was the son of [6]Joseph, which was the son of [5]Jonan, which was the son of [4]Eliakim, 31. Which was the son of [3]Melea, which was the son of [2]Menan, which was the son of [i]Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David, 32. Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson, 33. Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda, 34. Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God."

    Chapter II

    Cousin John

4 BC-28 AD (32.5 years of flesh life)

#2. A temple priest named Zacharias and his wife Elisabeth are well stricken in years and without issue. Too many years had gone by since Zacharias and his wife prayed for an offspring. When the angel speaks to Zacharias about his wife bearing a son in 5 BC, the thought of a child must have been the furthest thing from his thoughts.

(KJV, Luke 1:5-10) "5. There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. 6. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7. And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years. 8. And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course, 9. According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10. And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense."

#3. The angel Gabriel appears to Zacharias during his temple service (June 13-19, 5 BC.) Zacharias is told by Gabriel his prayer of old will soon be answered. Zacharias can’t fathom the possibility of him and his wife having a child this late in life and so he responds in disbelief.

(KJV, Luke 1:11-20) "11. And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 13. But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. 16. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. 18. And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 19. And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 20. And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season."

#4. Zacharias was silenced when he disrespected our heavenly father by refusing to accept God’s message his wife was to conceive. His loss in voice was discovered by all when he left the temple at the close of the course of abia on June 20, 5 BC. His ability to speak was not restored until April 2, 4 BC when Joseph obediently accepted and confirmed his son’s God given name, John.

(KJV, Luke 1:21-25) "21. And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple. 22. And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless. 23. And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. 24. And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 25. Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men."

#5. The birth of John the Baptist occurred on March 25, 4 BC, and circumcision was performed eight days later (April 2, 4 BC.) Elisabeth’s issuance of a male child in her old age was seen as a miracle, a precious gift from God. This birth was more than a miracle to Elisabeth and her husband Zacharias because the child came with a heavenly purpose. John came into the flesh with wisdom, memories of old, to enable him to carry out the task before him.

(KJV, Luke 1:57-58) 57. Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. 58. And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.

(KJV, Luke 1:59-63) "59. And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. 60. And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John. 61.

And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. 62. And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called. 63. And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marveled all."

#6. When speech returned to Zacharias on April 2, 4 BC, it drew wide attention regarding his son. The scripture below says it well. John was placed here, in the flesh to give knowledge of salvation unto his people, by the remission of their sins. The return of Zacharias’ speech must have stired up many soul cleansing emotions because the Holy Spirit returned to Zacharias on that very same day (April 2, 4 BC.)

If John could have bottled soul cleansing emotions, the bottle would have been filled with the Holy Spirit and instructions to ask God to forgive our sins. The bottle would have been free for the asking and re-usable as often as needed.

(KJV, Luke 1:64-80) "64. And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God. 65. And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea. 66. And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him. 67. And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 68. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69. And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70. As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71. That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72. To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73. The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74. That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75. In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. 76. And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77. To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78. Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79. To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. 80. And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel."

    Chapter III

    The Messenger

    December 25, 5 BC (Conception)

#7. The angel Gabriel visits Mary to give her a message. She has been selected to be the holy vessel to carry the son of God. Mary listened to the message of what was to come and decided before she completely understood, to whole heartedly accept God’s will in a totally respectful manner. Just as Joseph would not disrespect God’s will, the Virgin Mary surrendered her will into God’s safe hands.

Just think for a moment about the first few moments when Joseph, Zacharias, or Mary began to react to a heavenly message. Each of them remained honest with God about what they were feeling, and God applied his judgment accordingly.

(KJV, Luke 1:26-37) "26. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37. For with God nothing shall be impossible." #8. A bright light engulfed the room and the Virgin Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost, the Virgin Mary was then with child, and the room returned to normal. The immaculate conception occurred on December 25, 5 BC, near the end of the year of Jubilee (5-4 BC.)

At the completion of this transaction, Mary’s soul no longer had free-will. Mary had given up her freewill to God and accepted his will. Mary’s soul was destined for Eternity with our heavenly father and his son. That did not mean that Mary’s life ahead would be without danger, or without pain or suffering.

(KJV, Luke 1:38) 38. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

#9. Mary was now with child and almost fifteen years of age when she visits her cousin Elisabeth in December ‘05 BC. Mary remains with Elisabeth to assist with the birth of her cousin’s miracle baby, John.

Now, three months pregnant with God’s son the Virgin Mary returns home. Mary must have been a little apprehensive of what the future had in store for her because her pregnancy was now showing. A look, a word, or even a raised voice can be felt fifty times more hurtful while pregnant, and now as she returns to her home with Joseph, anyone who sees her along the way will know she is with child. Also, witnessing the birth of John may have been the first time Mary witnessed the birth of a child. Something that she soon will experience herself in late September ‘04 BC.

(KJV, Luke 1:39-56) "39. And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; 40. And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. 41. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42. And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. 43. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44. For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. 46. And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 48. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 49. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. 50. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. 51. He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. 54. He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; 55. As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. 56. And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house."

    Chapter IV

    Mother & Step-Father Joseph

    5 BC-16 AD (Nearly 21 years of marriage/protection)

#10. When Joseph returns home, he discovers Mary’s pregnancy. In shock, Joseph did not know what to think or what to do in this situation. While Joseph was away working, the Virgin Mary had become pregnant, and Joseph was responsible for her safety. Joseph first looked internally for an answer regarding what had he not done. And then, Joseph knew he needed to know who was responsible. Mary was in denial of any contact with a man. She explained to Joseph she didn’t know exactly how she became pregnant. She could only tell him it was God’s will. Not fully understanding the situation, Joseph needed to know what God would have him do. As he searched for an answer as to how he had failed God he pondered Mary’s dilemma as he slept. Joseph was beside himself with what to do about this situation. He wasn’t quite sure if he should dismiss her quietly or expose her to the public as was the custom.

(KJV, Matthew 1:18-19) "18. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily."

#11. Joseph’s struggle within ended when an angel appeared to him in a dream, assuring him the child growing within Mary’s body was of the Holy Spirit.

Joseph was told to continue to protect Mary, and to name the child Jesus.

Through the grace of God and the righteousness of Joseph, Mary was able to fulfill her vow of chastity throughout her entire 67 years of flesh life.

(KJV, Matthew 1:20-25) 20. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25. And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

    -Fulfillment of Prophecy-

(KJV, Isaiah 7:14) 14. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

#12. A taxation decree was issued from the Emperor Augustus, and so Joseph gathered his family together and traveled to Bethlehem. There was no hiding Mary’s pregnancy. Surely Joseph and his family would be seeing many family and friends in Bethlehem. As the family traveled to Bethlehem,

Joseph was unsure how he would explain his connection to Mary and/or the pregnancy.

(KJV, Luke 2:1-5) "1. And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3. And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5. To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child."

#13. Nearly sunset on Sunday, September 28, 4 BC, Mary tells Joseph it is time for delivery of her child.

(KJV, Luke 2:6) 6. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

#14. When Mary joined Joseph’s family she became step-mother to his children by his late wife of 49 years. Jesus was Mary’s only begotten child. Mary’s step-children are as follows: (a) James; (b) Juda; (c) Simon; (d) Joses Barnabas; and, (e) Salome. This list is not necessarily complete because Joseph may have had older children who were not named in scripture.

(KJV, Matthew 13:55-56) 55. Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56. And his sisters…
