    Dedication

This book is dedicated to my three children who are pictured with me on the back cover.

Despite and in spite of the situations I went through, that each of you witnessed, you all have grown into productive young adults that I am truly proud of.

Also to the memory of the late Sharon Y Slaughter,

A strong Black Woman of God.

    Acknowledgements

First giving all thanks to God, who is not only the head of my life, but is my life. Without him nothing would be possible.

Next to my best friend, sister in Christ, my business partner in many endeavors, D. Ren’a Wagner. For your faith in me and hard work you’ve put forth to make my vision come to pass, I say Thank You!!!

To my Pastor and First Lady; James and Joan Lawson, who have been supportive of whatever Ren’a and I set out to do, please continue to keep me in your prayers.

To my Aunt Denise (Dee Dee) Jones, thank you for allowing God to use you. By passing on the email it has truly blessed me. It has been used as an outlet for me, a release of the shame I felt because of the abuse I endured. I have seen first hand how you have Let Go and Let God in your life over the years during your trials and tribulations.

To my Aunt Vicki Wilson, you have inspired me and encouraged me through your life by going after your dreams and making things happen. You’ve been there and done that, ‘Let Go and Let God’!!

To my Friend/Sister, Shonda Abram Allen for your wisdom and advice. And helping hand in raising my children along with your Mom and my mother’s best friend/sister, Patricia (Tishie) Turner Montgomery. Thank you both.

Last, but not least my husband Tony D. Bonner, who truly believes in me. I say thank you for the support and constant pushing, encouraging me to get this book done.

    Words of Encouragement

To my little brother Jeffrey (Jay) Taylor
