About this ebook

Advent of the Antichrist offers a thorough explanation of Nostradamus’s famous 1999 king of terror quatrain. Based on this quatrain, August 11, 1999, is an important date in history. On that day, a total solar eclipse took place over Europe. According to Nostradamus, it was also the date for the coming of the Antichrist. For he will be an eighth king (Revelation 17:11), he is the eleventh horn (Daniel 7:8), and his number is 666 (Revelation 13:18). Author K. L. Brady makes the argument that this is the eleventh hour, beginning with this date on a doomsday clock. History will record that the advent of the Antichrist coincided with the advent of the twenty-first century.

Nostradamus writes of a great king whose war will give rise to another great king to come. Who are these great Kings? Advent of the Antichrist presents a new revelation that chronicles the birth and rise to power of the one who will head up an army and conquer the world. It also provides a clear explanation of the events behind the symbolic imagery and the biblical passages concerning the coming apocalypse.

It is the time to warn and prepare yourself and those around you for what could take place. The clock is ticking toward a time of darkness and light such as the world has never seen before.

This book dedicated to Kaylin and all that I love

Before writing all of this down, I had set out with a burning desire to know and possibly understand what was to take place in the future. I hope and pray that in reading this book you share that same desire to understand, to seek out what will take place so as to prepare. I took to heart the words in Revelation 1:3 - Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. The answer to knowing what is to take place is to seek God in all understanding and He will reveal the truth of all matters.

    CHAPTER ONE

    Astronomy Position of Nostradamus

Much has been written about Nostradamus and his times and as this is not the focus of this book, I am only writing of my conclusions and what I believe. Also, there is much debate about the source of his visions and the nature of his prophecies. In this, I am only giving my conjecture.

The reality is that the movement of the sun, moon and stars can only be used to date an occasion or event. As in the case of the birth of Christ, it was marked in the heavens by the star of Bethlehem. But just the sighting of this star gives no indication of what is to take place. One would have to have knowledge of a great event to take place as was predicted by the prophets in the Bible. This knowledge then gives a meaning to the event of the sighting of the star. In Genesis 1:14 – And God said Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, (NIV) this is indicated.

Did Nostradamus receive his visions through mysticism, occult or arcane knowledge or was he a true prophet? That is the debate. A true measure of a prophet is his accuracy, but in this he made it difficult to discern. He used arcane knowledge known to only a select few in his quatrains to confuse those that would try to interpret what was to take place by his estimation.

By Nostradamus’ own admission, he did not want his prophecies to be understood until after they took place so as not to influence history. In his Preface to the Centuries, in which he is writing to his son Cesar - who was born to him late in life - he indicates that his visions of the future are divine, coming from God and not from the magic arts. He quotes the Bible and of its prohibition of using magic arts for divination. He confirms this with C6-Q100, where he warns against those that would use this for wrong purposes. In this, was he being a true Christian or being clever to avoid persecution? As a Catholic and a Jew, he had to be concerned of how he would be perceived and the danger of the Inquisition might have influenced his writings. Only time will confirm or deny his role as a prophet of God. As a Jew, he would lay claim to his lineage and to the knowledge that the writers of the Bible were Hebrew.

LUKE 21:10-11 - Then he said to them: Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. (NIV)

LUKE 21:25-27 - There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (NIV)

The sun will be turned to darkness...

    CHAPTER TWO

Sign of the Advent of the Antichrist

    Century X Quatrain 72

The year one thousand nine hundreds ninety nine seven month (July)

From the sky (heavens) will come a great King of terror

To bring back (to life) the great King of Angolmois.

Before after Mars to reign by good fortune.

L’an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois

Du ciel viendra vn grand Roy deffraieur

    Resusciter le grand Roy d’Angolmois

Auant apres Mars regner par bon heur

Nostradamus gave importance to this quatrain by giving it the date of July 1999. July, 1999 marks the birth, or coming into this world of the one who will be known as the Antichrist. Just as with the birth of Christ, the birth of the Antichrist will be marked with a sign in the sky of a great event that will take place. Nostradamus wrote that he will be a great King of terror. Today he would be called a terrorist leader reigning in war. Just as the star of Bethlehem was a sign of the birth of Jesus, the King of the Jews, there is a celestial event to mark the birth of the Antichrist. It can be expected though that the sign will not be a bright and shining star, but one of a dark nature, a portent of darkness, not of light.

The sign of the Antichrist is this, the solar eclipse of August 11, 1999. How does this align with July, 1999? In Nostradamus’s day, the Julian calendar was in use. Today we use the Gregorian calendar. Thus, August 11, 1999 on the Gregorian calendar is July 29, 1999 on Nostradamus’ Julian calendar. Even if this is not the actual date of his birth but an approximation of it, it still points to the importance of July 1999 as a sign of the advent to come of this great King of terror. Nostradamus in his Epistle to Henry II wrote that his visions came to him by night then calculated them by day, using what was available to him at the time which was the Julian calendar and astrology. Nostradamus is writing that July 1999 marks a time surrounding an important event, the celestial omen that heralds the birth of the great King of terror, the solar eclipse of August 11, 1999.

It needs to be noted that Nostradamus used sept mois in his French writing to give the year 1999 a month. Sept is the number seven or seventh month, July being the seventh month on the calendar. However, he may have had another reason for using the term sept mois instead of using the name of the month as he had done in other quatrains. It is written in this way to align July with the fifth sign of Leo on the zodiacal constellation. Leo on the Gregorian calendar is from July 23 to August 22, placing August 11 within this sign. (From Nostradamus-King of Terror, Marshall Masters, 24-September-01)

The sign of the solar eclipse is a dark omen for Europe. This was the land that was overshadowed by the eclipse of the sun on August 11, 1999. The path of the eclipse marks the area that will come under attack by the army of the Antichrist as he seeks to plunge the Christian nations of Europe into darkness. This is why the world will call him Antichrist, for he will be against Christ and His church.

Nostradamus writes of this in his Epistle to Henry II. Then the great empire of the Antichrist will begin where once was Attila’s (empire) and Xerxes descended in numbers great and countless, so many that the coming of the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the 48th degree, will make a transmigration, driving out the abomination of the Antichrist, making war against the royal who will be the great vicar of Jesus Christ, and against his church, and his reign for a time and to the end of time, and this will be preceded by a solar eclipse more obscure and more dark, than any since the creation of the world, except for the death and passion of Jesus Christ, and from that time till now, and will be in the month of October that the great translation (shift) will be made, and it will be such that one will think the gravity of the earth has lost its natural movement, and that it will be plunged into the abyss of perpetual darkness. Nostradamus is making a comparison of the great empire to come of the Antichrist to the great empires of Attila and of Xerxes.

Attila at the height of his fearsome power was a great general and warrior like Hannibal and a king of kings of his people and of the Roman world. As a king of terror, he reigned for around 20 years after uniting his people and various tribes under his rule, something that did not happen before or after him. He alone possessed the power, authority and great respect to unite a diverse and nomadic people who were in disarray due to in-fighting and the lack of a common goal in their conquests.

To his enemies, he was a wild and savage proud barbarian. To his people, he was the greatest of all warriors, a noble king and divine leader, a man of
