About this ebook
Starwolf
I am the mother of two wonderful young adults, Cory (age 21) and Randi-Kiana (age 17). When I was young, my father used to take us on long car rides, and to entertain us, he would make up stories using the road signs as characters. He never wrote down any of his stories. Creating stories has always come very easy to me, and I have always enjoyed telling them to the children in my life. I do not want to lose my stories the way we lost my dad’s. In my spare time, I crochet children’s blankets for a local family homeless shelter, ride my 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna Superglide whenever I can, and drive a Ford F250 truck called Big Mama when I can’t. I live with my wonderful husband, two beautiful dogs, three spoiled cats, and a sweet guinea pig in Gresham, Oregon. During the week, I work for a company repairing machinery that produces microchips, paint, play guitar, and write. I have a very full life!

This story was written for my daughter,
Randi-Kiana, who became very distraught
when the ocean stole
her sand castle away.

(Part I)
Once there was a prince who lived by himself near the ocean. He was not an extraordinary prince, but rather plain. His hair was a mousey brown and always looked windblown. His grey eyes were the color of the ocean on a stormy day. He was neither tall nor short, sort of average all around. He never talked loudly as the other princes did,
