    Arthur sat on the stool placed directly in front of the bar tender in a Houston bar. From a middle-class family, he had chosen to experience as much culture as possible since he was a young man. He had ended up in continental Europe dropping in and out of programs. That was before his diplomat father moved the family to Russia when he got the position of a top American diplomat in the powerhouse European nation.
