Introduction
This is Volume Two of a three volume special edition. It contains the creations of Mel Croucher and Robin Evans produced for a bit of a company called Automata and a bit of a cult called The PiMan.
Automata was founded in 1977, the first video games company in the UK, and the Automata Golden Years lasted until sometime in 1985. The PiMan was the company’s mascot, and appeared in some best-seller video games. Which is bizarre, seeing as nobody in Automata knew anything about video games. Including the bloke
