I saw hateful judgement pierce loving hearts by religious fanatics. I felt the lost ones try and find a way home by twisting the truth further into denial. My temperature slowly turned cold when my spirit was left idling in an empty home. My will to love unconditionally was on the verge of collapse. Eventually, the comfort of hope became the numbness of time. It felt like a personal violation and I found it increasingly difficult to connect with this world of followers any longer.
