    The Lord Calls Samuel

    Samuel praised God in the days of Israel as a child. In those days, the word of God was precious because there weren't any open visions. And it came to a time that Eli the priest was sleeping in his place and he couldn't see because his eyes were blind. And the lamp was out beside the Ark of the Lord in the Temple, and the boy Samuel was fast asleep. And the Lord called out to Samuel and he answered, "Here am I."
