It was one of those nights that had the potential to take your breath away. One you know that will be burned into your memory; that you will look back on and it will stir things in your heart that will bring an awkward smile to your face.

Yes, potentially, one of those nights....

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Who still has an alarm that beeps? You know, you can change that to a song or something... less annoying.  Jason says, with as much sarcasm as he can muster up.

It gets me up. And it’s my alarm, so I can have whatever I want on it Allison replied just as sarcastically.

Slowly she turned to him and kissed Jason on the nose. He shook his head with slight a grin, knowing that was all the attention he would be getting this morning, and started to climb out of bed.

The sun was lightly peeking its glory over the horizon. Not a cloud in the sky, but the air smelled of freshly fallen rain. A soft cool wind blew the curtains just enough to make them dance for a moment.

Jason walked over to the window and stared out into the city, taking in the enticing touch of the serene breeze. His body; long and muscular; defined and tan; not one hair on his perfect, broad chest. Looks like it’s going to be a pretty decent morning, he said as he turned to look at Allison.

Jason’s dark brown hair touched his forehead; he looked up and pushed it back. He gazed back over at Allison. Her long, wavy black hair, tossed aimlessly about; like it was trying to crawl away. Her pink cheeks and lips stood out on her pale skin. The sheet was thinly placed over her, not leaving much of her perfectly toned body covered. He could stare at her all day and be happy with just that.

Allison laid in bed, observing him. His eyes were green; almost emerald when the sun hit them. He had stubble, which she loved; it made his strong features appear more manly. His lips were thick; the kind you see and want to kiss, and his body, oh my God, that perfectly well-built body of his was even more glorious when the sun hit it. I am sure the sunlight loved touching his skin just as much as she did.

With a devilish smile, she seductively whispered, come back to bed and we can make it an amazing morning.

Playfully, he jumps on the bed next to her and tossed back the sheet.

Her laughter always took his breath away. He loved the way her eyes lit up when she was in a playful mood and how she tossed her head slightly to the side. Her eyes; he could get lost in them for hours; blue, green, brown; it was like looking at a kaleidoscope of the earth. Her lips; those lips, all his for the taking. Those perfect lips, so full and soft; that would make even the angels jealous.

She pulled him in and offered him a quick, teasing kiss; and as she ran her hands through his hair, she pulled his head towards her again, stopped; stared him in the eyes, she licked her lips and said sorry my love, but that will essentially have to get you through the day. I have a meeting that I cannot be late for, and you have a handful of clients you need to get to. A huge grin formed on her perfect lips.

As he leaned off to the side, he threw a pillow at her and rolled onto his back. Such a tease.

Come on, get up and make me some coffee. Besides, today could be the day. Allison said as she did a little quirky dance on her way to the closet. 

Let’s not get our hopes up. But, yes, that would be nice. Jason said with not much enthusiasm. He was up for a promotion to make partner at his law firm. He didn’t want to get his hopes to high, since he was passed up last time.

He made his way downstairs to start the coffee. Wiped the night off his eyes, he stumbled through the kitchen, trying to find the light switch. Pulling down two mugs; a smile edged upon his lips. He couldn’t help but think about the special night he had planned. Allison had no idea what he was up to and he
