WHY PROTECT?

I wrote the first version of this book in 2016 and have been given reasons to be even more certain of the importance of this work. In 2021 I learned that my main guide was not what she seemed. It was a painful spiritual experience and lesson, but necessary. We, my mother and I through Spirit Speaks, learned that not all guides are from what I’ll call the Highest Light of God side. They don’t all operate on behalf of the light side. I’ve added a new section about this called Dark Campaigns and Negative Assignments.

It still holds true that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he doesn’t exist. Although a quote from a movie, The Usual Suspects, it speaks volumes to the condition of the world today.

For some of you this may not be hard to imagine and for others it may be a stretch. I invite you to stretch with me and loosen up tense muscles of the mind before we begin. I also invite you to consider a possibility. You don’t have to believe me or agree, but I ask only that you will be open to consider.

What if it’s true? That somehow, humankind has been convinced that the devil doesn’t exist. What if the demons in religious stories do exist? Perhaps not in exactly the same way they are depicted in popular culture, but still they exist.

What if in the same way there are those who work for the light, there must also be those who work for the dark, as the law of polarities suggest? What if this isn’t a contradiction to new age or new thought philosophy, but rather, simply a clarification?

What if there are spiritual beings that have the free will, like we do, to turn their back on the Divine Source? We do it all the time – forgetting who we truly are or covering the light within. Some of us go along with what may be popular because it’s easy. What if there are beings in spirit that aren’t so different than the beings we know exist in the flesh? We are familiar with those individuals that commit heinous acts against their fellow man. It isn’t a far stretch to think similar beings are in spirit. As above, so below.

Imagine there are beings like this operating from that low-level mindset and most base nature but without the confines of a physical body to limit them.

What if they understood how much power they have and how to use it? Think of those criminal geniuses who build empires, even if they happen to be illegal empires.

There are those in the spiritual realm who were once angels and for whatever reasons lost the connection with the Divine. In truth, they can reestablish it, plug back in, and have that Light inside them go from a flicker to a flame. The same is true for us. Again, as above, so below.

Something in their world has them convinced they can’t go back, shouldn’t go back, or that the light can’t be trusted. Something wants to keep them in the dark. When we are angry, hurt, afraid, and hungry for love as people, what do we do? We lash out. We try to bring other people to the level where we are; partly as validation and partly so that we aren’t alone. When we aren’t alone in how we are BEhavING, we feel our behavior is okay.

You, the human side of you, understand this.

By the very nature of your being alive, and on this planet today, you are only a few cosmic years away from experiencing the purely spiritual life that occurs between physical lives.
