About this ebook

In 2188 NextYorkCity Senior Detective Damian Manx is known as one of the Global Police Forces' leading investigators. Especially when it comes to Unexplained Death cases.

But even the seasoned detective is stumped when a series of brutal murders take place seemingly without any direct link between the victims, or with the killer leaving behind any useful clues.

Now he's got the lifeless bodies of five women, a wet-behind-the-ears young partner, and a medical examiner with a strangely obsessive interest in the past to deal with. And not a clue where to start.

"Hell Found Me" is a short narrative rewriting of NPD Case File #UD2188-479NP. This Short Story provides backstory information to Greg Redd's upcoming series of full length near-future novels featuring Damian Manx.

Greg Redd

Greg Redd has been fascinated by words and how they can be made to fit together in an effort to make sense of a mad world since an early age. When the art and drama of his high school years faded as a creative outlet, words took their place.  At first the words he put together were kept private. Then he started putting the words together for technical manuals, corporate training tools and academic materials. He quickly became bored with writing for business and started random scribblings to feed his frequently obscure and rampantly imaginative creative side again. Then, in the early hours of an insomnia driven morning, he accepted that it was time to start combining some of his words jumbles into some a little more substantial. Greg has been married for many years, all of them to the same long suffering saint of a woman. The couple live with their daughter and two cats in South Africa.
