Molly held up a tight fitted dress. Kara rolled her eyes and laughed. Molly was a complete fashion icon. Fashion was her passion. The latest trends and most expensive items exploded in her closet.
Kara knew why she over spent and indulged in the finer things in life. Her father had remarried and his new wife hated Molly. It was simple. She didn’t hide the fact that she disliked Molly, barley out of high school herself, with a personality of a bitchy teenager. Jealousy, that’s how Kara saw it. Snaky comments and dagger eyes were Ann-Marie’s signature. So he sent her money, and lots of it. If she ran out he sent her more. Kara often wondered how Molly hadn’t bled him dry. His guilt was how Molly coped with her loss of her father. Shopping, as Molly said was the cure to any girls problems.
What is the dress for? You got a hot date I don’t know about?
Kara asked examining the red dress, and its soft texture. It was too revealing for Kara. She wouldn’t have the confidence to wear it. Molly on the other hand, it was up her street. Hot, sexy and bold. It would show of her slim long legs and give her the look of sophistication.
Dah, Kai will be home tomorrow! Plus you guys throw the best Christmas Eve party ever!
Molly pointed her manicured finger at Kara and flung her light brown locks over her shoulder. She just had to remind Kara about the party. It was same every year.
