About this ebook
The polar ice caps melting. Not her fault. The so-called 'perfect storm' off the coast of Massachusetts in '91. Not her either.
Rolling thunder rumbled. Two trolls tossing bowling balls against the side of her Christmas Shoppe. Rain pelted windows and — lightning hitting too close. Even for a weather witch.
Gizelle frantically flips through her spell book because a hurricane hammering Los Angeles... definitely, her fault.
A fun tale set in the Enchantment Avenue world where magic gets... a tad bit out of control.

Christmas Weather Wish - Chrissy Wissler

The polar ice caps melting. Not her fault. The so-called ‘perfect storm’ off the coast of Massachusetts back in ‘91. Not her either .
Rolling thunder rumbled, like two trolls tossing bowling balls against the side of Gizelle’s Christmas Shoppe and her walls, her poor walls, rattled like those white, unmagical bowling pins just before they toppled. Rain, if you could call drops the size of beach balls rain, pelted her window panes and she swore she heard a slight crack — a crack that came from the lightning hitting just a tad too close.
Even a weather witch.
In between those flashes she glimpsed the palm trees lining Enchantment Avenue and the string of magically secured darkened Christmas lights hanging on by their last strands.
Four more bowling balls, like they’d smacked together mid-air, roared. The air sizzled with magic gone awry, like burnt toast that no amount of raspberry jam could cover up.
Gizelle squeaked, thumped open her spell tome and thumbed through the pages as fast as she could in the candlelight.
This, though, this definitely wasn’t her fault. A hurricane hammering Los Angeles —
Another crack. This time definitely glass.
Okay. Definitely, her fault.
Crap. Crap. Crap.
She thumbed faster through the browned, crackling pages. Her Santa hat slid over her eyes. She shoved it back for the umpteenth time.
The spell was here. Somewhere. If only she could blasted see.
Except the storm had cut out the power. Even her magically charged Christmas lights strewn about her packed-to-the-brim shop had gone out with a sizzle and a snap.
Definitely not good.
Neither was the fact that the entire street, Enchantment Avenue, had gone dark at the same time.
Really, really not good. Which meant she needed to find the reverse spell and fast.
Any why had she done it? Why had she thrown perfectly good sense out the window and done something she knew she oughtn’t have?
Other than the fact I’m an idiot?
Because she’d wanted to believe.
In magic. In herself.
Her front door banged open. The gold reindeer bells clinked and dinged. She
