Considering The Horse is a collection of stories that outline common behavior problems, and how to fix them by viewing things through the horses' eyes and approaching them with understanding and gentleness. Rashid helps the reader to understand the psychology behind horses' seemingly mysterious behavior, the common miscommunications between horses and riders, and the widespread misconceptions that riders have. At the end of each chapter are notes that he added 20 years later, which expound on several points, teach techniques which he later learned about, and explains a few cloudy details. Very interesting and informative.
