About this ebook

Total Solar Eclipse 2017 - How To Beat The Crowds & Get The Best View - The ONLY Complete Traveler's Guide lists dozens of little-advertised hamlets directly within the center of totality, offering the longest possible degree of totality. In addition, it is the only guide that outlines thousands of miles of Interstate, State and Local Highways that lie within the desirable "two-minutes-of-totality" zone.

    CHAPTER ONE

    CRITICAL SUN VIEWING CAUTION

    DON’T GO BLIND!!!!

OK. I get it. You’re an adult and you know better than to stare at the sun. Duh.

A total solar eclipse is often a family affair. It is estimated that over a hundred million Americans are within an easy day’s drive from the center of totality. Every person in the United States will see at least a partial solar eclipse.

Many viewers will be families with children. Adults MUST impress on their kids the importance of NEVER looking directly at the sun at ANY time except during those two fleeting minutes of totality.

A total eclipse is an event that takes place over about a two and a half hour period from start to finish. ONLY the two minutes or so of absolute totality in the middle of this time frame
