Your Emotional Barometer

The Moon is very important in your astrological profile, second only to the Sun, and it is your emotional barometer, detailing how you process your emotions, and how you express those feelings to others. It travels very quickly through the 12 signs of the zodiac, spending roughly two and a half days in each sign. Each month, the Moon hits the sign and degree it had when you were born. When that happens, you are experiencing what is called a “lunar return,” a moment that sensitizes your emotions for the rest of the month and can also show how your general reactions to the world around you will be affected by events over the course of the month that follows.

As with any astrological chart, you can find places on the Internet (two examples: , and ) that will allow you to set up a lunar return for yourself, and of course if you have a horoscope program on your home computer it will probably allow you to do the same.
