“You try being denied for two months and see if you can stand it.”

The words left my mouth before I could stop them. Instantly, my pounding heart skipped a beat. I had snapped at Damien. Not only did I feel terrible – I had, after all, consented to all of this – but now he had a reason to punish me. And Damien loved punishing me.

“Attitude, hmm?” He raised an eyebrow.

“I'm sorry, sir,” I said. “I didn't mean it.”

“I know you didn't, love,” he told me. He kissed my forehead gently. “But actions still have consequences.”

He turned the speed of the vibrations a little higher again.

“Time to go back to the party.” He checked his watch. “The auction is about to start.”

He gripped my arm as we walked. I couldn't tell if he was offering me support or showing me he was in charge. Knowing Damien, it was both.

The little toy was humming and rumbling along. Though I didn't want to believe it, I could already feel myself approaching the point of no return. It didn't take much to make me need it, after all this time, but normally when I was fighting back pleasure, I didn't have to do it in a room full of people.
