Every writer needs the ability to be creative on demand

This morning, I spoke with a writer we'll call Sally. Sally's a relatively new writer. She wrote as a side gig for three years.

A few months ago, she become a full-time writer. By that time, her writing income had far surpassed her income from her day job. Not only was her ghostwriting business was thriving, but she'd also released the first book in a New Adult fiction series, and she'd signed a six month blogging contract with a large company.

All should have been well, and it was — then it wasn't. She said: Suddenly my writing business turned into a nightmare. The changes
