The Tribulation

The second book in the three book series is about the first three and one half years of the Tribulation.  When the Rapture occurs, the world is turned upside down.  Almost two billion people have disappeared along with all the children in the world.  The Devil could have his two men, the Antichrist and the False Prophet, appear on the world scene immediately, but he does not.  The Devil would like for the world to be in total chaos.  After three or four days, the Antichrist and the False Prophet show up on the world scene with all the answers to all of the questions people have been asking. 

Remember Tom and Debbie, the older couple in The Past of the Coming Future?  They continue to live in the book, The Tribulation.  We will follow them during that first half of the Tribulation.  We will see the actions of the Antichrist and the False Prophet as they prepare the world for the second half of the Tribulation. 

All wars and troubles have ceased and there is nothing but bliss and happiness everywhere.  The Bible says in First Thessalonians 5:3 – For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  For how long will peace and safety continue?  Will we see the beginning of deterioration as the first half of the Tribulation comes to an end? 

Tom and Debbie would still have three and one half years to live, if they want to make it through the Great Tribulation.  These three and one half years will be the worst time the world will ever experience.  The Bible says in Matthew 24:22 – And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:  but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.  What will happen?  Will they both make it through and if so, how?  The third book in the series, The Great Tribulation and Beyond, will answer those questions.

PROLOGUE

In the book, THE PAST OR THE COMING FUTURE, Professor Steven L. Wilson told the story of the events which took place previous to the Rapture of the Church.  It also included the forty-five-day lull period following the rapture.  When Michael signed his name to the peace treaty, Daniel's 70th Week began.  He now continues with the story of the future events in THE TRIBULATION.

Michael looked at Dr. Messenger and smiled.  Dr. Messenger knew exactly what Michael was thinking and in a few minutes they would be able to talk and express their innermost thoughts.

Michael knew the world was still in chaos and everyone was looking to him to guide and direct them out of the troubles they were in.  The peace treaty was the thing the world needed.  The delegates from the Southern Confederacy were patting each other on the back and saying how great it was to have peace at last.  The Israeli delegates did not say anything out loud, but they were thinking the same thing, Peace at last.  Everything sounded great, but real peace, was it true?

The ten point peace plan had to work.  How could it possibly fail?  The undesirables were gone and they were the ones that had started all the wars in the last 150 years.  Since the undesirable could not start any more wars, then there must be peace.  Who would possible start a war if there was peace everywhere?

CHAPTER 1

Second Thessalonians 2:7, 8 - For the mystery of iniquity doth already work; only he who now hindereth will continue to hinder until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

Daniel 9:27 - And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Everyone was watching a television set as each delegate came forward and signed his name and his country’s name to the peace treaty.  Michael stood and said, This is the most important day in the history of the world.  When I sign my name to the treaty, the whole world will be at peace.  At exactly 10 a.m., April 3, 2011, Michael signed his name to the peace treaty, Michael D. Glispbe.  Michael then made his infamous statement when he announced, "THESE PROCEEDINGS ARE CLOSED." 

With that statement, everyone stood and began to applaud and then the chant started, Michael, Michael, Michael.  Michael just stood there waving and also bowing to acknowledge the applause. 

While all eyes were on Michael, Dr. Messenger was saying something to the delegates from the Southern Confederacy.  After talking, they all shook their heads in an affirmative jester.  The cheering and the applause continued as did the chanting for Michael. 

At that time, Dr. Messenger walked over to Michael and once again he bowed and kissed Michael’s right hand.  The delegate from Egypt walked over to Michael and did the same thing that Dr. Messenger had just done, he kissed Michael’s right hand.  Then the delegate from Jordan came forward and the other delegates from the Southern Confederacy.  They all did the very same thing.  The cheering and the applause were deafening and the chanting of Michael was twice as loud.  All eyes were now focused on the two delegates from Israel.  Everyone wanted them to do the same thing that Dr. Messenger and the Southern Confederacy delegates had just done. They wanted the Israeli delegates to bow and kiss Michael’s right hand.  The two delegates stood and talked back and forth and then they approached Michael and extended their right hand to shake his.  Michael stood and stared directly at both men.  If looks could kill, both men would be dead.  Michael reluctantly shook the hands of both men, but down deep he was fuming.

The cheering, applauding, and chanting continued for five minutes, then ten minutes, and after fifteen minutes, Michael started to speak.  "My fellow brothers of earth, peace will be our constant companion from this day and forever.  For thousands of years, men have desired peace, but peace was only a dream.  That dream has now become reality.  This moment in history will be spoken of for thousands of years to come.  There is no other day in the history of the earth like this day.  This is the day when brother will begin to love his brother, and your enemy will become your best friend.  Think only, how can I help the world to have everlasting peace? Look around you. Everyone is your friend.  This day I proclaim PEACE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD."  The cheering, applauding, and chanting was louder now than at any other time.  Everyone was looking to Michael for all the answers to the world’s problems. 

Dr. Messenger walked over to Michael and said, We will have to leave in twenty minutes so we can finalize our speeches for tomorrow. 

Michael looked at Dr. Messenger and stated, The people must be prepared for the events of tomorrow and with this next speech they will be anticipating April 4. 

Michael began to speak again.  The dream of peace was first realized by Dr. Messenger, and with that dream he founded The World Council of Religious Beliefs. The main idea was to bring everyone together in order to believe one thing.  When Dr. Messenger became head of The Fellowship of Believers, there were two things he wanted to do. First, he wanted to change the name to The Fellowship of World Believers.  Second, he wanted everyone in the world to know that The Fellowship of World Believers is the only true religion in the world. Tomorrow, in front of the entire world, Dr. Messenger will be commissioned as the spiritual leader of the only true church in the world.  He will be God’s spokesman.  He is the most religious person the world has ever seen. 

The cheering, applause, and the chanting for Dr. Messenger was almost as loud as it had been for Michael. The only difference with the people’s chanting was what they were saying.  They were chanting, Holy Paul, Holy Paul, Holy Paul.  Michael and Paul, or Dr. Messenger, stood there drinking in all of the acclamation from the audience. 

Michael approached the microphone once again and said that he and Dr. Messenger were totally worn out and they had to get some rest before the commissioning services tomorrow.  Michael’s specially chosen guards were supposed to take Dr. Messenger and Michael out the back to avoid all the people, but Michael changed his mind when he saw how the people were reacting to his speeches.  We will go through the crowd and let the people touch us, Michael told Dr. Messenger and the guards.  As Michael and Dr. Messenger walked off the stage, Michael turned and told Dr. Messenger, There never were two men the people of the world have loved more than us.

I know, Dr. Messenger mused. They think we are gods.

All the way through the crowd, the people were touching them and begging them to stop, but Michael was getting a little uneasy about being in a position where he could not escape.  Once in the car, however, Michael looked at Dr. Messenger and said, The world is ours.  The drive back to Michael’s mansion should have taken eight minutes, but the people lined both sides of the street and the drive took thirty minutes.  Half way home, Michael reminded Dr. Messenger about the statement that Professor Wilson had made.  He said, When the Antichrist signs the peace treaty, he and the False Prophet will become diabolical.  When I signed the treaty, I did not feel a change and I have not become diabolical. As a matter of fact, I think I am more kind and loving toward the people of the world.  Dr. Messenger said he did not feel anything either.  They both agreed that the Bible and Professor Wilson were wrong. The Antichrist and the False Prophet were still very far off into the future.

At the mansion, Michael and Dr. Messenger were going over their speeches for Dr. Messenger’s commissioning service scheduled for the next day. Everything was perfect. The finishing touches they added made them sound as if professional speech writers had written both speeches. The next two days would put Michael and Dr. Messenger in front of the entire world, and with Michael’s Year of Jubilee, which would be announced on April 5th, the economic problems of the world would be solved.  Michael knew that he and Dr. Messenger had all the answers to all the problems of the world.  They thought they had the whole world in their hands.

At this time I will let you ask any question that you want.  John, what is your question.

Why did the two delegates from Israel decide not to bow down and kiss Michael’s right hand?

"There are a number of reasons.  First, both delegates were very Orthodox Jews.  What that means is that they believed you should only bow down to GOD and GOD only.  Second, the veil had been lifted off the eyes of the Jewish nation.  2 COR. 3:16 says, 'Nevertheless, when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.  When the veil was lifted off the eyes of the Jewish nation, they saw for the first time that Christ was the promised Messiah.'  Third, the Old Testament custom to bow down and to kiss the right hand of a person was an indication of submission.  Even though Israel was going to give up her weapons of war, she would not submit to Michael.

Beverly, what is your question?

Could you explain to me why the seven year period is called The Tribulation?

The reason we call it The Tribulation is because Christ called it that.  In Matthew 24:21, Christ said, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. The period of time Christ is referring to is the last half of the seven years.  If the last half is call The Great Tribulation because it is so severe, then the first half would be called simply The Tribulation because it is not as severe as the last half.  The second half begins when the Antichrist goes in to the rebuilt temple and commits the Abomination of Desolation which Matthew speaks about in 24:15-20.  'When ye, therefore, shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whosoever readeth, let him understand), Then let them who are in Judea flee into the mountains; Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house; Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.  And woe unto those who are with child, and to those who nurse children in those days!  But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day;'

"Let me add just a few other things to my answer before I go to any more questions.  When the rapture occurred, the restraining force, which is the Holy Spirit, was removed and the forces of evil could then run rampant throughout the world and run rampant they did. The demons that belonged to the Devil did everything in their power to put thoughts in a person’s mind to do things that they had never thought of before or that they had never done before.  Later on I will go in to detail about what I am speaking about.

"Since the restraining force was removed, the Antichrist could now be revealed to the world.  But because the world was not looking for the Antichrist, they went about their daily life like nothing had happened. They still wondered what had happened to the millions of people that had disappeared, but that was about all they did was wonder.  They were caught up in just dealing with the changes that had to take place in their lives and their jobs. During the forty five day lull period the world was being sat up for the coming of the Antichrist.  Things were really bad during those forty five days.  Murder, rape, robbery, and other crimes were occurring on a minute by minute basis.  What law there was could not contend with the crime spree and the out and out disregard for any other person or their belongings.  Without the restraining force of the Holy Spirit, the world was turned completely upside down. Each one did what they thought was best for them.

Linda, what is your question?

If you remember, you said that Michael and Dr. Messenger knew who they were and what they would be in The Tribulation.  They now act as if they really don’t know who they are, could you explain?

"Yes.  Michael knew he was the Antichrist and Dr. Messenger knew that he was the False Prophet.  But Michael did not want to be The Antichrist, he was wanting to be GOD.  We all know that is impossible, but Michael wanted to be worshiped like GOD and for people to treat him like GOD.  Michael wanted people to bow down to him.  When the last half of the tribulation started, if people did not bow down to his image and proclaim him to be GOD, they were killed.

This will be the last question.  Marsha, you have had your hand up, so what is your question?

When you first started telling us of the past, Brother Wilson, you said when Michael signed the peace treaty, the Tribulation would begin.  So, The Tribulation began at 10:00 in the morning on April 3, 2011.  Is that true?

"Yes!  Michael stated in his speech, there was no other day like that day and that day would go down in history.  His statement was very true.  But the reason that day went down in history was because it began The Tribulation, not for the same reason Michael was thinking about.  You also have to remember the verse I quoted before we started our talk.  Second Thessalonians 2:7, 8 - 'For the mystery of iniquity doth already work; only he who now hindereth will continue to hinder until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and destroy with the brightness of his coming.' The verse is saying that the Antichrist cannot be revealed until the one that hindereth is taken out of the way.  That is what I said just a minute ago.  The question that many people asked before the rapture occurred, who or what was hindering the Antichrist from being revealed? The only answer was the Holy Spirit.  During the Church Age, when anyone accepted Christ, the Holy Spirit came to live and dwell within that person’s heart.  When the rapture occurred, the Holy Spirit was taken with all of the Christians.  By having the Holy Spirit gone, the Antichrist could then be revealed.  The Antichrist was revealed to the world if they had looked for him.  The Antichrist was to be the person that signed the peace treaty with Israel and the Arab countries.  No one was looking for an antichrist, but for a god to follow and make their world perfect.

"Before the rapture, there were two other theories that some Christians believed in.  The first was the Mid-Tribulation Rapture.  In other words, they believed that the rapture would occur at the mid-point of the tribulation.  The reason some people believed in that theory was that they thought that the Antichrist would be revealed at the mid-point of the tribulation.  They thought that the Antichrist would not be revealed until he sat on the throne and proclaimed himself to be God.  They had their eyes closed to the scripture in Daniel 9:27 which stated that someone will sign a covenant with Israel for seven years. 

"The other theory was that the rapture would occur at the end of the tribulation.  The reason some people believed in that theory was because of the verses in Matthew 24:39-41 which speak about two people in the field, one will be taken and the other left.  They thought for sure this was the rapture. They understood that the tribulation would occur first and that two would be in the field working together and one would be taken and the other left. They thought this spoke of the rapture, but if a person was to study the scripture more carefully, one would see that it was not the rapture at all, but the Judgment of The Nations.  Both of these ideas or theories were wrong and a little later I will give you scripture to prove the only true idea was a Pre-Tribulation Rapture.  I think that answers your question, Marsha.

I will now continue and later I will answer more questions.

The day had been very long for Michael and Dr. Messenger.  They both were tried and worn out and putting the finishing touches on the speeches for the commissioning services made them realize they needed to get some sleep.  Michael told Dr. Messenger that April the 4th would be his day, the day that everyone would know that Paul was the most religious and the holiest man in the world.

When Michael and Dr. Messenger finished with the speeches for the commissioning service, they focused on one thing which had to be taken care of as soon as possible. The three members that voted against everything that Michael purposed had to be eliminated. Michael had already groomed three men who would take the place of the three accidental deaths.  He did not want men on the board of the ECU that would not agree with him on everything.  Michael told Dr. Messenger to call and have everything ready within the next two weeks. I want the three new men on the board, voting on all of my proposals, before the month is out.  Dr. Messenger agreed and said he would take care of everything.

CHAPTER 2

Revelation 13:11-13 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them who dwell on it to worship the first beast.

Sleep was exactly what Michael and Dr. Messenger needed. Once he was in bed, it did not take long for him to fall into a sound sleep.  Once in a sound sleep, the dream began.  Instead of being restful, the dream brought back those feelings of turmoil and hatred for the Jews, just like he had when he was growing up. He remembered how sick Sunny and Mary Beth were that night when his grandmother, Kim, had come to take him to her house so he would not catch what they had.  In his dream, he could see the fire start under his bed, and how it engulfed the whole house.  He saw his father, mother, brother, and sister in the fire and the panic he felt because he could do nothing.  He remembered his grandmother telling him they were all gone because GOD was not a loving GOD.  His dream also showed the children making fun of him in school and the fights he had almost every day.  The boys were saying he was not a Jew and the girls did not want to have anything to do with him.  In his dream, he said he was the enemy of GOD and GOD’S people, the Jews.  He said he would get even with them and make them pay for what they had done to him.  He dreamed about the things Hitler had done to the Jews and what Hitler did would be child’s play compared to what he was going to do.  He dreamed how he would break the peace treaty and how he would put a ban on all religions in the world.  He knew the Jews would not abide with his ban and at that time, he could exterminate the entire Jewish race.  He also dreamed about those two old Jewish delegates that refused to bow and kiss his right hand.  In his dream, he saw the bodies of those two delegates that had been killed.  The dream did not stop there. It continued for only seconds, but it seemed to last for hours.

When Michael woke up, he remembered what he had dreamed about and how he felt anger toward the Jews. He thought about the two old delegates at the peace signing that would not bow down and kiss his right hand. The more he thought, the more enraged he became.  He decided those two had to be eliminated just like he had seen in his dream.  If they were not done away with, how could he get any sleep at night? 

It was 6 a.m. and although the night’s rest was troubling and restless, the sleep had refreshed both of them physically for what was going to be a very trying day. The commissioning services were only six hours away. Michael asked Dr. Messenger if he had slept well and the answer was, I slept like a baby.  Dr. Messenger wanted to know how Michael had slept and that is when Michael told him about his dream. 

In my dream, I saw the bodies of the two Israeli delegates lying in the street. They have to be eliminated.  Dr. Messenger agreed they had to be killed. He said he did not like those two anyway. 

They went over their speeches once again to make sure everything sounded great.  Michael would be the first to speak and then Dr. Messenger would thank Michael for his support and for being like a son to him. Dr. Messenger would then give his speech and again proclaim that God would reveal himself to the world in 3 ½ years. 

Time was flying by when the door bell rang and the announcement was made to Michael that the car was out front. Once in the car, Michael and Dr. Messenger began talking about the previous day and all of the special things that were planned for the day after the commissioning service. 

After they both talked about the events planned for today, their thoughts started to focus more on the things of the next day.  This would be when Michael would give his plan to save the economy of the world.  Michael casually stated that the people of the world would think that he was God for delivering them out of the chaos and distress.  Dr. Messenger looked at Michael and said, You are God and the people of the world should worship you as God.  In 3 ½ years, the people in the entire world will bow down and worship you as God or they will die.

When the limo pulled in front of the Dome of The Rock, the crowd was already larger than had been expected.  The people started to shout, The Prince of Peace, The Prince of Peace.  The shouts were similar to those from the people the day before, when Michael had signed the peace treaty.  As well they should be since the 400 men and women that started the shouting had been paid by Michael’s head of security, Joshua Wise.  As Michael and Dr. Messenger went through the crowd, the shouting became louder and louder for The Prince of Peace. Upon seeing that they were about half way through the crowd, other men and women had been paid to throw palm branches ahead of Michael and shout Hosanna, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord!  Hosanna in the highest!

Michael and Dr. Messenger were escorted to the newly built platform just two hundred feet away from the proposed Jewish Temple.  Everything was going to be played out exactly the way Michael and Dr. Messenger had planned.  The Prime Minister of Israel approached the microphone and said he would like to introduce the delegates of every religion in the world before he introduced The Prince of Peace.  Each delegate came forward and made a very short statement and then they would walk over to Dr. Messenger, bow and take his right hand and place it next to their forehead.  Next, they walked over to where Michael was seated, bowed and kissed his right hand. 

At last it was time to introduce Michael.  The Prime Minister cleared his throat and said, It is with great pleasure that I introduce the greatest human being to ever walk upon the face of the earth, Michael D. Glispbe, The Prince of Peace." 

As Michael approached the microphone, the men and women that had been paid to shout for Michael began shouting once again, Michael! Michael! Michael! Yesterday, Michael let the cheering, chanting, and applauding last for 15 minutes.  But today, he let it last for 20 minutes.  After 20 minutes, Michael began to speak.  Yesterday was the most important day in the history of the world. The world had peace! (He paused for the applause and shouts.)  "Today is the second most important day in the history of the world.  Today we are gathered here to install the holiest man in the world as our religious leader.  This man is so holy
