    An unusual landscape, and old enemies. Revenge , love, a very human detective who has his feet in two cultures, secrets. What else do we need?????? Really lovely, thanks Michael Ridpath.

    Spannende Fortsetzung der Island-Saga. Ridpath gelingt die Verknüpfung der isländischen Geschichte (die isländischen Sagas, Familienfehden) mit aktuellen Themen (Vulkanausbruch, Finanzkrise), charakterlichen Unterschieden zwischen Isländern und Amis und von Morden innerhalb der Familie des isländisch-US-amerikanischen Kriminalpolizisten Magnus Jonson wieder brillant. Und das Ende lässt weitere Bücher erhoffen.
