Αλλού ο στίχος του σου θυμίζει τη γραφή του Καβάφη. Born in Tuscany, Italy. Currently living close to Florence and Vinci, Leonardo's hometown. Doctor in Medicine, specialized in Neurosurgery, with an ancient passion for Poetry, he is the Author of over 2,000 poems published in 20 personal books. Frosini writes in Italian, his native language, and English. He is the founder of the International Association "Poets Unite Worldwide," with which he has published more than 50 Anthologies. "Florence, A Walk With A View" is an excellent example of this type of poem. It exchanges the anger we experienced in the preceding poem with melancholy, but this is a haunted and desperate melancholy, not at all like the word's root meaning of sweet sorrow. Yet, in Fabrizio Frosini's poem, the city charms the visitor with its natural beauty - "the silky lights of the / Sunset" - and artistic ambiance - "the intimate warmth of nostalgia that makes / Your heart melt at the sight around".In the finest poetry, beauty is conveyed in all of it sensuous and spiritual glory. The title "Water Music" refers to one of Handel's most popular works, a masterpiece of baroque melody, rhythm and harmony. The poem, however, is not about this music.. here is a shining element of the beauty this poem conveys - "I was in my room, staring at the clear sky through the window. The moon, so pale and magical, drawing my imagination to her. In my ears Handel's music was playing softly." - There is the beauty of VITA NOVA, in this Frosini's poem: Dante's idealization of Beatrice with its artistic and moral benefits experienced by a contemporary couple. And finally the beauty of sublimation, when an otherwise sensuous experience must be transferred to the plane of the Imagination. Other Frosini's poem, like "Nocturnal Snowing", are Poems of Memory, that reveal the persistence of an experience of mutual attraction in the poet's life over many decades. There, a young woman, who is forever young and lovely in the poet's mind, becomes a touchstone of emotional value. But not all good experiences are given a future by the hand of fate. And so Frosini's poetry also explores the emotional consequences of the loss of such a promising moment... Θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω εδώ εγκάρδια τον έλληνα φίλο Δημήτριο Γαλάνη που μου έκανε την τιμή να μεταφράσει ορισμένα από τα ποιήματά μου στη μητρική του γλώσσα, τα νεοελληνικά. Είμαι σίγουρος πως η μετάφρασή του, καθώς κι ο ίδιος είναι ποιητής, θ' αποκαλύψει στον έλληνα αναγνώστη την ουσία της ποίησής μου. Ad Maiora!

Τα περισσότερα από τα ποιήματα του δόκτορα Fabrizio Frosini που μεταφράζω εδώ έχουν μια λάμψη εντύπωσης μαγικής. ΄Εχεις την αίσθηση πως ο ποιητής εκφράζει την έγνοια του ανθρώπου ως υποσυνείδητη αίσθηση που κινείται έξω από τον κόσμο που τον περιβάλλει. Παρόντα παντού στα ποιήματά του αισθήσεις κι αισθήματα της μηδαμινότητας της ύπαρξής του όσον αφορά την εξέλιξη της ζωής του. Σου δίνουν την εντύπωση πως ο χρόνος τρέχει χωρίς να σε ρωτάει ή να ενδιαφέρεται για σένα. ΄Οτι είσαι ένας μικρός κόκκος άμμου στην ακτή του σύμπαντος [Οι Κινέζικοι Κήποι — Στην άκρια του σύμπαντος].

Συχνά ένας διάλογος με μνήμες του παρελθόντος, σκέψεις και όνειρα του παρόντος, υποσυνείδητα κι ασυνείδητα να εναλλάσσονται, ένα αμφίσημο σώμα ποιητικό πολλών εκδοχών και ερμηνειών που σαγηνεύει με την πολυδιάστατη, ανισόπεδη κατανομή των διαστάσεών του [Νυχτερινή χιονόπτωση].

Νοσταλγικό κλίμα ευαίσθητων αισθημάτων. Ευαισθησία γεμάτη από την αιώνια του έρωτα ουσία ιχνηλατεί ο στίχος του κάποτε στο άρωμα της μοναξιάς που εννοεί να κρατήσει για πάντα δική του! [Καημός].

Αλλού ο στίχος του σου θυμίζει τη γραφή του Καβάφη. Λίγες λέξεις ν' αναφέρονται στο χώρο ολόγυρα και ξαφνικά να σε πλημμυρίζει η ενσυναίσθηση ενός κλίματος που ένοιωσες εκεί που δεν το περίμενες, σα συμβάν σε σκηνή θεάτρου, του θεάτρου, νοιώθεις, της ίδιας της ζωής, άλλοτε γλυκιάς κι άλλοτε πικρής ή ό, τι άλλο σου τύχει... [Φλωρεντία, Περίπατος Με Θέα].

Ο στίχος κι η ποίηση του F.Frosini κινείται πάντα σε όρια ποιητικά, παντελώς ασύμβατα με τη λογική της πρόζας, του πεζού εκλογικευμένου γραπτού. Στροβιλίζεται στα μονοπάτια της πραγματικής, γνήσιας τέχνης, αυτής που αγωνίζεται με την εικόνα που ζωγραφίζει μπρος τα μάτια σου να σου δώσει με τα χρώματά της τα ονειρικά την αίσθηση και το αίσθημα της ύπαρξής σου στον κόσμο, κάποτε μάλιστα μια αίσθηση κι ένα αίσθημα δονούμενα από την αγωνία και το φόβο του παρόντος και του μέλλοντος που αγνοούν οι περισπούδαστες αναλύσεις του κοινού λόγου του καιρού μας. Ευαίσθητες οι κεραίες της ποιήσεως του τόσο που νοιώθεις πως συλλαμβάνουν τα αόρατα σήματα των καιρών μας. Θα επιθυμούσα η προσπάθειά μου να αποδώσω στα νεοελληνικά αυτή την ποίηση να εκτιμηθεί στο μέτρο που το πέτυχε.

Μost of Fabrizio Frosini's poems I've translated here have a magic aura. We have the feeling that the poet expresses the existential concern of Man as an unconscious feeling that moves away from the world around him. Present everywhere in Frosini’s poems are human being's sentiments and feelings that derive from the concept of uselessness of the existence, as far as it concerns the evolution of Life. All this gives the impression that time runs away without caring for us, small grains of sand at the edge of the Universe...
