According to Henry H. Goddard, Rosemary had actually suffered from a disability which required her to receive intellectual specials needs. A biographer composed that Rose Kennedy did not confide in her good friends and she pretended her child was typical, with some family members understanding absolutely nothing of Rosemary's reported low IQ. There was some speculation from different medical professionals' that Rosemary was both "psychologically ill" and epileptic.
Journals which were composed by her throughout the late 1930s, and then released throughout the 1980s, exposed a girl whose life was filled with getaways to the opera, tea dances, gown fittings, and other social interests. She checked out a couple of books however her favorite was Winnie-the-Pooh.

Rosemary Kennedy’s Childhood
Rosemary Kennedy was born at her moms and dads' house in Brookline, Massachusetts. She was the 3rd kid and very first child of Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. and Rose Fitzgerald. Throughout her birth, the physician was not readily available and the nurse commanded her mother to keep her legs closed, requiring the infant's head to remain in the birth canal for 2 hours.
By Massachusetts state law, the Binet intelligence test was provided to her prior to first grade. Due to failing this test she was held back twice from kindergarten.
Rose Kennedy sent Rosemary to the Spiritual Heart Convent in Elmhurst, Providence, Rhode Island, at age 15, where she was separated from the
