CHAPTER ONE
Magical Boys Just Wanna Have Fun
By J. C. Long
The sun was shining brightly from its place mounted in an azure sky that was entirely free of clouds. It was the perfect day for a trip to the park. Seventeen year old High School senior Yuki Yamero couldn’t have asked for a better Saturday. Thankfully his teachers at Hoshigawa Senior High School hadn’t overloaded him with homework, for once. That left him free to enjoy the beautiful spring day with his boyfriend, Takamitsu, who just went by Taka.
Taka was the older brother of Yuki’s best friend, Mina, and she’d been keen on getting them together. In his first year of university and working part time to pay for his own place in the heart of the city, Taka was always busy, which actually worked well with Yuki’s high school schedule.
School wasn’t the only thing on his plate, though. Yuki lived a much (unwillingly) busier life than the average high school senior. He spent a good portion of his nights—and some of his days, riskily enough—flying around on fairy wings in a way too skimpy cerulean blue uniform getting attacked by all sorts of unnatural and ugly creatures.

Before her arrival the Twilight Kingdom was a happy place where beautiful fairies lived and dwelled. Sindaris, a parasite, drained it of all its life, essence and beauty, sending most of the fae fleeing. Now she was targeting our world, sending out creatures she called Vampires to harness the life force from our own world. Pretty crappy of her, really.
With all of this going on one of
