Dale Wiley has had a character named after him on CSI, owned a record label, been interviewed by Bob Edwards on NPR's Morning Edition and made motorcycles for Merle Haggard and John Paul DeJoria. He has three awesome kids and spends his days working as a lawyer fighting the big banks.

The news hit town and spread like any good gossip. It outdistanced the truth within a matter of minutes, and was laps ahead of it by the end of the day.
Margaret Baker wasn’t the first to hear, because she didn’t go out of her way to listen to tales, as she called them, but she heard soon enough. An Arab had come to Tarrant, Missouri.
This was news. The last Arabs that had spent any time in Tarrant were a group that came through for a Sunday night touchy-feely meeting at church in the late seventies, and they had been nice enough, and had said Jesus was a prophet, which had made her feel a little bit better about them, but that was the seventies and things had changed.
Personally, she didn’t care, but the events of 9/11, even though they were a decade old, had drawn lines in America that were yet to be erased. She didn’t think it was a big deal, but she could tell that many people did.
He had bought the failing Tarrant Town Restaurant. That much was known for sure. Some people added that he was definitely a Moslem, that he had secretly bought several rental houses in town, and that he wore holy underwear. Margaret was pretty sure that was the Mormons, although she didn’t like to talk about underwear in front of anyone, so she kept her opinion to herself.
Margaret was seventy, and she tried her very best to live a Christian life. No, a life like Christ. That was what
