About this ebook

Angela McCool had always wanted to be a movie star. She’d pictured her name in bright lights, signing autographs, and giving press interviews. A one-way trip to Hollywood was going to be her big break. Many auditions and failed opportunities later, Angela was saved by a man named Jackson under one condition—that he owned her.

Jackson Fischer was a businessman who saw money at every opportunity. It was fate that he met Angela one night, and it took little convincing to make her go home with him. Now came the bigger challenge—to keep her.

Enzo De Laurentiis was an agent to the stars and had dealt with many insane requests over the past several years. He also knew talent when he saw it. When he met Angela, he knew he could turn her into the Next Big Thing—as long as he could get her away from her pimp.
Will Angela be able to escape Jackson before it’s too late? Is Enzo really her saving grace?

Daddy’s Angel is a sensual/erotic book that deals with prostitution, empowerment, and trust issues.

Prologue

Sometime in the future…

Enzo warned her it was going to be a madhouse. Maybe madhouse was too polite. Insane. Ah, yes. Insane was more apt.

She was nearly blinded by the multiple camera flashes in her face, from the moment she stepped out of the limo. The high heels sank into the plush red carpet and Angela was grateful for her handlers being close by, or her first red carpet appearance might’ve been one for the record books.

Angela, over here! Angela!

Angela, can we get a solo shot of you?

Angela, tell us—how does it feel to be the first African-American female action star?

It was the day she had dreamed about for years. Ever since she was a little girl, growing up in Michigan, Angela McCool fantasized about walking the red carpet. She blamed her mother for the unhealthy obsession with fame. Her mother, prior to her horrific death, took Angela to plays, religiously watched the Oscars every year, and taught Angela from a very young age how to act properly—nails were always manicured, hair was meticulously put together without a strand out of place, legs were crossed when she sat.

And then there was the walk. Lead with your hips, not with your toes, Angie baby, Angela could recall her mother’s words to her. Sway, sway, sway. A woman’s walk is her trademark just like her hair. It’s how she presents herself and the first thing anyone will notice. If you’re a slouch, you can have the biggest tits on Earth and no one will look at you. Always lead with your hips, baby. Always.

Wearing a fire-engine-red sequined dress that was going to guarantee her being on every best dressed list, Angela slowly made her way down the red carpet. She’d already mastered the art of talking while she smiled; making sure the camera always caught a good angle of her. She walked very carefully in the overpriced and foot-hurting stilettos, stopping every few feet to meet with the press and do a minute-long interview before she moved to the next one.

It was a dream come true.

So, you did what you said you were going to do. Longtime Hollywood agent, James Barker, approached one of his friends on the sidelines. He was a 60-year-old man who was currently on his third wife but it didn’t stop him from partying with big-name rock stars during the week. I don’t know what magic you have in you, kid, but whatever it is, share it with the rest of us, will ya?

Enzo De Laurentiis chuckled as his tongue darted over his lips. I just know talent when I see it. That is all.

You’re a goddamn miracle worker, James nodded towards Angela, Two years ago, I would’ve told you to pass on her and focus on someone better.

"Two years ago, you did tell me to pass on her and focus on someone better." Enzo remembered. What James forgot—or not—to mention was that when he’d said better, he meant someone White, with no hang-ups.

I can admit I was wrong. I’m allowed to admit my faults now, James smiled. So, what’s next for her? She’s in the biggest movie out here and I hear Oscar buzz.

She’ll enjoy it for what it’s worth and then we’ll see what she wants to do. Enzo smiled as he watched his girlfriend finesse one interview before she moved on to the next one. They briefly caught eyes and he winked at her. All sorts of scripts are coming her way so we’ll just go through them and see which ones are appropriate for her.

Good, good. Well, I’ll let you go enjoy your night, James held out his hand and Enzo shook it, congrats again, kid. You did good.

Thanks, Jimmy. I appreciate it.

From a distance, another man watched Angela carefully. Watched? No. More like stalked her. It’d been this way for a while, since the day he saw her years ago and up until she finally left him awhile back.

Jackson promised Angela he would always know her every move.

Every moment.

Every step.

Every breath.

Two years prior...

Angel, are you ready to go? The man asked.

Angela McCool put the finishing touches on her lipstick. Just one second, Daddy.

Jackson Fischer walked into the bathroom and eyed his prized possession. It didn’t matter what time of day it was, Angela’s beauty stunned him speechless. Long ebony hair that shone in the moonlight. Hazelnut eyes that glittered whenever she spoke. Full, pouty lips that were accompanied by high cheekbones. An apple-shaped ass that led to legs that went on for miles. Delicious brown skin that looked like it was dipped in the finest milk chocolate.

She was a goddess. She was his goddess.

She hadn’t always been that way. When he met her, Angela was a missed meal away from fainting due to hunger and exhaustion. At first, she wasn’t really his type but he saw the potential she had. He could mold her, train her
